00:00Haven't seen the last of Todd Bowles, even though I believe he's 36-36 with the Buccaneers,
00:04a couple division championships here.
00:06Here's the tough part, Joe, for me.
00:07When I'm running an organization myself, you can find good defensive coordinators.
00:11You can't find great offensive coordinators.
00:13They had a couple in their building the last two years, and it's not Todd Bowles' fault.
00:16He was the head coach, and it's what it is, but you lose those top guys to other teams
00:20because they get to become head coaches here.
00:22See what Liam Cohen is doing there in Jacksonville.
00:24Maybe he could have done the same if he stayed in Tampa Bay,
00:26but Todd Bowles is going to stick around, as Joe always points out.
00:28All right, you fired Todd Bowles.
00:31You get Matt Nagy or Vance Joseph.
00:33You know what I mean?
00:34You might as well keep what you got with a guy who's won some things at least, right?
00:39They're always there.
00:40I mean, they've been in the postseason how many years now in a row with him at the helm.
00:45I mean, this is not a guy that has been struggling.
00:48It was an off year.
00:49They kind of fell apart here.
00:51Injuries kind of took their toll, but the Bucs have never really been that kind of organization
00:57where they're just, oh, let's fire a guy a year or two into it.
01:01I mean, he's been there a long time, Todd Bowles.
01:04And yeah, I think at 62 years old, he deserved a shot to return for his fifth season.
01:11And I think, listen, I think they'll be good if they got a couple of decisions to make in the offseason.
01:15But yeah, I think the injuries were a big part of why they landed where they did this year.
01:21But I think a good bounce back year for Todd Bowles next year.
