00:01Hiya! It's Lizzy from The Last Dinner Party and I'm here to talk about my lovely Gretsch Streamliner today.
00:07This is a lovely Cherry Red Hollow Body.
00:10I got this during the Album 1 campaign because we wanted something that was a bit warm
00:15and kind of bring that acoustic feeling, full-bodied sound.
00:19I think it looks lovely. It's really nice and light, which makes it perfect for touring shows.
00:24And the humbucker pickups are really nice and meaty.
00:27I first started playing this on Lady of Mercy from our first album, which was our heaviest at the time
00:33because of these humbuckers really make it rich and gnarly.
00:37And then in the second record, I use it on the scythe with a delay pedal that doubles up the
00:42output
00:43so it sounds like two guitars playing, so it sounds a bit like a 12-string acoustic.
00:48Yeah, we're kind of playing acoustic slash electric, which I think is a really fun, quite modern sound.
