00:00maybe none bigger than Ohio State taking on Texas and not a whole lot of movement going on in this
00:06game. Still seeing one, one and a half for Texas here at home. I'm not exactly sure being on the
00:16road is a bigger, is a big issue for Ohio State. We've seen Ryan Day and Ohio State win these
00:21games
00:21a million times. I've yet to see Sarkeesian win one of these big games, yet home or away.
00:27Uh, so I, to me, this is fascinating. I don't, I think this game means more to Texas at this
00:34point
00:35than I do. I think it does to Ohio State, but the schedule for Texas is not going to get
00:40easier from
00:41here. If they win this one, man, that's a pretty good, uh, pretty good punching of the ticket to
00:47at least the post season. I would think. Yeah. Either team, unless things completely fall apart,
00:54right. It has a major, major chip in their back pocket for the winner. I mean, any, even if you
01:01lost three times, as long as you want a couple, but both that tough schedule, the rest of the way,
01:07Ohio State schedule is brutal as well. So if you win this one, you lose three times. We'll say even
01:13two times, right? You know, you being able to say, yeah, but I beat Texas or you being able to
01:17say,
01:17yeah, but you beat Ohio State, they would get in. I mean, barring something crazy, the winner
01:23Saturday probably has locked up at least to that large bit, right? So what happens to the loser,
01:29you know, does a loser with three, with three losses this year, uh, not get in or, you know,
01:35get in rather, I should say, right. If let's say they lose Texas loses to Ohio State, right. But,
01:40uh, uh, uh, and they lose to like, let me give them a loss. That's excusable. They lose to, uh,
01:45Ole Miss, which is really good. And they lose to LSU, which is really good, but they beat Tennessee
01:50on the road. They beat Oklahoma. They beat Florida. They beat Missouri, which is ranked. They beat Texas
01:56A&M. I mean, there's enough other, you know, uh, you know, big wins on their schedule. Would they be
02:02able to overcome three losses? Right. But I agree with you. I think Texas needs to show a little bit
02:07more. You know, Ohio State's won the last two, 14, seven, 24, uh, or 28, 14. Um, if Texas were
02:15to
02:15lose another big game with arch, it's like, all right, you know, we, we got the hype. We get the
02:21last name. We understand all that, but you know what? We don't care anymore. He's, he's not winning
02:26these big time football games. Um, you know, at least play well, you know, throw for 300 yards,
02:33Joe and three touchdowns, albeit maybe a 35, 32 loss, but don't, you know, don't, you know,
02:40throw for 175 yards, a touchdown and two picks and lose, because if that's the case for, for
02:46Manning, then forget about it. Uh, then it's over at that point, but listen, he's got, you
02:52know, he can erase a lot of, uh, of bad memories here with a couple of good performances this season's
02:59got it. And then kind of take, uh, then be the lock for the number one pick coming up.
03:05But I think it's got to start here at home against the team, but you know, you're likely
03:09going to have to beat to win a national championship anyway. I mean, if it's ever going to happen,
03:15it needs to happen in this game. Doesn't it? Yeah. I mean, you got to step up. You can't
03:20keep on pushing the envelope and say, I'm going to do a next game, next game, next game. You know,
03:24you realize that next game is here and you're not performing. Um, you know, maybe he's just
03:29not that good, Joe, you know, a good college quarterback. There's nothing that it's not
03:33the end of the world. It's not a crime. You're not an NFL caliber number one, overall pick
03:37quarterback. Right. I mean, not every single Manning is destined for that to occur. I don't,
03:42I don't think, um, you know, so there's a reason why, you know, he couldn't beat anybody
03:47out for the, for the number one job. It was basically handed to him. Right. Um, so, uh, he's
03:53got to get it done. I don't think he does though. I like Ohio state in the game. You know,
03:58you
03:58got the double edged sword. You got Sarkeesian that still needs that big time, big time win.
04:02You got the quarterback that needs that big time, big time win. Um, I got to see it first
04:07before I'll, I'll go with the proving guys on the other side of the field, but it should
04:12be a great game. You know, the seven 30 game, they've been pushed it tonight, which is kind
04:15of nice. Um, for us, we can watch this as we host from three 30 to seven. Um, but I
04:21think
04:21Ohio state gets it done even on the road.
04:25I do too. One and a half. I, I'm, I just think they're the best team in the country. Uh,
04:31returning
04:31quarterback return. Some of the best wide receivers in the country. It's gotta, I just
04:36think, listen, Texas has always got the players. The problem with Texas is they just can never
04:42get it done when it matters the most.
