00:00The biggest game last Saturday was Ohio State-Texas,
00:03and it ended up living up to the billing.
00:05And it also ended up being a great day for betters everywhere,
00:11assuming if you were on Texas, you went Moneyline,
00:15and if you were on Ohio State, you grabbed one-and-a-half
00:20or two-and-a-half for this football game.
00:24There is a very interesting – and the market is telling us this.
00:32There are some people out there whose opinions I respect
00:34who have kind of said this about who looked better in this game.
00:38Who have we upgraded coming off of this game?
00:41And I actually – I think it's possible that Dave and I maybe will disagree
00:44a little bit on this, which is, again, totally fine.
00:51Texas spotting Ohio State.
00:54A 23-3 lead, to me, was exactly that.
00:59I did not leave this game thinking, Ohio State are so much better,
01:04Texas, total luck box.
01:06Texas' first play was a swing pass that Relique Brown fumbled.
01:13And then on the second possession, they had Cam Coleman
01:18for a would-be 80-yard touchdown,
01:20and he somehow bounced off the floor, and it was an interception.
01:27And all of a sudden, it was 10-0.
01:29And I understand – I understand that 10-0, right,
01:35doesn't just automatically mean it's going to be 23-3.
01:38But we had another classic Sark, fourth and one.
01:45You know what we should do?
01:46A 12-yard deep end around instead of just go forward with your big quarterback,
01:53brother.
01:54I think Texas' comeback obviously required some bad decisions from Ohio State
02:01to be possible, Dave.
02:03But I think Texas are better than Ohio State.
02:06Not massively.
02:07I actually think that that gap is smaller than I thought going into the game.
02:12But I think Texas started about as poorly as they could
02:16and did something that nobody does to Ohio State,
02:20which is a 20-point comeback against them.
02:23I do not think Ohio State should be seeing their championship odds decrease
02:30when we think about their remaining schedule here.
02:33What was your big takeaway from watching maybe the two best teams in college football
02:38go head-to-head?
02:39To be honest, I came away thinking that these are not the two best teams
02:43in college football.
02:44We went into there thinking that they are.
02:46And now you start questioning, well, are they the two top teams?
02:50Because, yes, Ohio State got off to the big lead.
02:52A lot of Texas breakdowns.
02:54Ohio State blows the big lead.
02:56Tech could look good.
02:58You could kind of break this game down any which way.
03:01I thought Texas had some bonehead stuff early
03:04and then had some questionable decisions early in the second half.
03:07And Ohio State should never blow a 20-point lead.
03:10Now, you and I were both on Texas because we felt the home field advantage
03:13with also the fact that Texas played extremely well at the end of last year.
03:17And at the end of the game, we were correct.
03:19If these two teams faced off in a college football semifinal at a neutral site game,
03:24I might have a different play.
03:26I might go Ohio State here because I didn't think, even though Texas came back,
03:29I didn't think they overwhelmed us to the point where they looked like
03:32the number one team in the country.
03:33What I came out of that thinking is we might have Indiana and Georgia win the Big Ten
03:38and the SEC again because I think they're better than both these teams.
03:42I still have Georgia as the best team in the SEC.
03:45And Texas didn't do anything, Kevin, to change my mind on that.
03:48They did win a big game and give them all the credit in the world for coming back
03:52and beating number one at home.
03:54But I question whether Ohio State should be number one.
03:57They have all the talent to be number one.
03:59Can they beat Indiana?
04:00Can Texas beat Georgia?
04:01We're not going to see Texas, Georgia until we get to Atlanta later in December,
04:06but we will see Ohio State, Indiana.
04:08They both have tough schedules the rest of the way.
04:11We went through Texas before.
04:12Ohio State still has Iowa, Indiana, USC, and Oregon.
04:16I just think the Big Ten is a little bit more open than we anticipated.
04:20You had Ohio State lose.
04:22You have Oregon lose.
04:23USC looks good.
04:24Michigan, for whatever it's worth, is still alive,
04:27even though they don't look good.
04:28Penn State's right there.
04:30I still think the SEC is Georgia, Texas, and LSU.
04:35But Texas didn't do anything to convince me that Georgia's not the best team in that area.
