00:05is likely is because you can see how quickly the shine is coming off Andy Burnham after his initial
00:12honeymoon period of course a Prime Minister coming in with virtually no scrutiny whatsoever and you
00:18can already see now the reality of the situation this country faces under Andy Burnham. The UK now
00:25paying the highest borrowing rate on record and you'll remember that campaign mainstream media
00:33campaign against Liz Truss. Well look what's happening now we're now at the highest levels
00:38at scene since comparable records began in 1998. Clearly people are seeing the spending pledges
00:49being made by Burnham not being met with any indication of cuts in spending whatsoever
00:57and you can see the end result here. Official forecasts are predicting that spending on debt
01:03interest will exceed a hundred billion pounds a year until at least the 2030s. We are in a dire
01:11financial situation in this country and a system now that is fundamentally out of control everywhere
01:18you look. You can see here as far as I'm concerned there shouldn't even be the right for rejected
01:25asylum claims to get an appeal but it goes on. You can see here two-thirds overturned on appeal.
01:33Absolutely ridiculous that you've now got nearly 5,000 people who've had their claims and repeals
01:40rejected living in taxpayer-funded accommodation. This is a system that is broken. This is a system
01:48utterly out of control and this is a system that is literally taking us to the brink of financial ruin
01:56with a welfare bill that is absolutely exploding. You can see the gap between tax receipts and spending.
02:03There's a 1.8 billion deficit in July, a national debt close to three trillion and at the same time
02:10for some reason the government think it's acceptable that nearly 1.3 million migrants are claiming
02:18universal credit. Totally out of control and what does Andy Burnham say? Well that he's not going to
02:26slash the welfare budget even to boost defence spending in this country. I think this clearly
02:33shows a Prime Minister who is struggling now under serious scrutiny already but please do watch this

02:46Can I say to the right honourable lady, yes we do everything to support our national security
02:53but it can't come at the expense of social security. Having strong national security also depends upon
03:05having resilience in our communities. This side of the house will not be forced to choose between the
