00:00When we first got Moki, Kobe wasn't entirely sure on her.
00:03He was an only dog for four years and well, he just found her a bit annoying.
00:11Moki was like that annoying younger sister that just didn't want to leave him alone.
00:15She was cute though, but I'm not sure Kobe agreed.
00:27What didn't help either, Moki was relentless in trying to bond with Kobe, even kissing his face.
00:34There were times that Kobe would try like Moki, I think.
00:38Let's be honest, he was just letting her know who's the boss.
00:44He would grab her by the neck with his mouth.
00:46It may look vicious, but it's just a dominance thing.
00:49He was letting her know from early, this is my house.
01:00Moki even started copying us, maybe thinking it would help bond with Kobe.
01:08Moki wasn't a quitter though, she would constantly try and snuggle up with her older brother.
01:17Kobe just found her so annoying, he was not having a good time.
01:23She looked up to him so much, bless her, literally watching every little thing he would do.
01:28Not to mention, at one point, even going to see if Kobe had any milk.
01:36Okay, so Moki was clearly obsessed with Kobe, but what did Kobe really think of this new puppy being in
01:42his home?
01:44Time and time again, anytime she would get too close to him, he was gone.
01:52This was the very first time I thought Kobe was going to let Moki snuggle up to him.
01:56The way her lies came out, oh you just knew Kobe was not enjoying that.
02:00She was getting a little too comfy.
02:02Kobe's face says it all, oh hell nah, and of course got straight up.
02:10He would show his teeth at her, just to let her know, but Moki being Moki, of course, would push
02:16her now.
02:25Moki was only 8 weeks old, so she was used to snuggling up with all her other littermates and her
02:30mum and dad.
02:30She couldn't understand why Kobe wouldn't cuddle up with her.
02:35Kobe didn't want to know.
02:37We would let him tell her off, she needed to learn Kobe's boundaries, and the best way to do that,
02:43let Kobe tell her.
02:46You've got to give it to Moki, she really said, I'm here to stay, so you've got to learn to
02:51love me.
02:52But Kobe definitely was not feeling the love, at all.
02:58Kobe's face says it all, he didn't want anything to do with her.
03:04There was nothing actually in Kobe's bowl here, but we wanted him to teach her that it wasn't
03:08okay to go up to another dog's food like that.
03:11He was not a happy boy.
03:13What are you growling at?
03:15We made sure to pay lots of attention to Kobe, we didn't want him to feel like he was getting
03:19replaced.
03:21Moki didn't like this idea too much, but it was good for her to know that she can't
03:25get attention whenever she wanted.
03:29Kobe would just about put up with her if we were around, but honestly,
03:33he was struggling to get to terms with another dog being in the house.
03:36You know, Kobe, keep going.
03:44Don't do that Moki.
03:45Yeah, you see that?
03:51Oh yeah, we gave Kobe all the loving he deserves for putting up with the mini monster.
03:56Hello, Kobe.
03:59Hello, hello.
04:01Hello.
04:02Oh, Kobe's a mummy's bowl.
04:05Hello.
04:06Whoa.
04:08Mwah.
04:09Got it.
04:10Hello, Kobe.
04:21We gave Kobe all the fuss and attention.
04:24He was loving it.
04:25Moki didn't understand why she wasn't involved.
04:27Dopamines easily get separation anxiety.
04:30So we would try and make sure she realized that she wasn't always the center of attention.
04:34Did you see Moki barking for attention?
04:36She was not happy about it.
04:39Okay, we couldn't help entertaining her a bit though.
04:41She's just so cute.
04:47Slowly but surely, Kobe started showing a bit more interest.
04:51This was the first time he actually played with her.
04:54It was a really nice moment to see.
04:56All right then, you ready you two?
04:59Yeah?
05:01Someone's very excited.
05:04Good boy.
05:06We took them out on walks together.
05:08I thought it would be a good place for them to bond.
05:10Kobe could run away from her if he wanted to.
05:16Moki, come.
05:17Come on.
05:18Come on, Moki.
05:19Come over here.
05:21But because Kobe still wasn't completely sure of Mokes,
05:24we would take them out separately too.
05:28It also meant Moki wouldn't get too dependent on him.
05:32Plus, she was still a pup.
05:34She had the whole world to see.
05:36We took her everywhere with us.
05:39Basically, every other walk would be Kobe and Moki together.
05:42It was the place they bonded the best at the beginning.
05:44Probably because of the space Kobe had.
05:54She's still a bit scared at the moment because she's still so young.
06:06She's still a bit scared at the beginning.
06:12She's still a bit scared.
06:30What is that? Who's that? Who's that? Who's that?
06:39He doesn't understand what's going on.
06:52I couldn't believe it. Kobe actually started playing with her. If you could have seen my face at this moment,
06:58I was so relieved. I honestly thought we were going to have two dogs that hated each other.
07:05He started rolling onto his back, being so much more submissive, they were just giving the most heartwarming moments.
07:15They even started running and playing together on walks.
07:22Look at them two go. I feel like a proud parent.
07:29Kobe didn't even mind the little kisses anymore. He started seeing her as part of our pack.
07:46He just started looking so much more relaxed around her. Rolling onto his back. It was a phew moment. These
07:53two are actually going to get along.
08:19Yeah, I know. He really let her do that.
08:30It's safe to say, these two are now best friends.
08:34Appreciate it.
08:34We'll see you next time.
08:34Bye.
08:35Bye.
08:35Bye.
08:35Bye.
