00:06I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to be in the running up for the Nutrient Next Gen
00:12Leader Award.
00:16Just a little bit about me and what we do.
00:18I started out on a two-acre block at Tambourine Mountain with my grandparents.
00:23We had about 200 avocado trees there and we've slowly worked our way up and now we are at our
00:31new farm here at the Lockyer Valley.
00:33We've got about 6,000 trees here, ranging from avocados, mangoes and custard apples.
00:39It's been a very long journey and I've learned a lot and I've still got a lot to go.
00:44So, I am looking forward to innovating and coming up with new ag practices every day to make the family
00:51farm a better and more viable place.
00:54There's been a lot of challenges already in my short career, along with mother nature, storms and everything like that.
01:02But to produce a beautiful crop, something like this, is something that I'm grateful for and the opportunity that I've
01:11been given by family and other members that surround me every day is extremely special to me and I look
01:17forward to continuing on this ag journey and hopefully making it a better place.
