00:00So, who is he throwing the ball to exactly tonight here?
00:03If it ain't going to be Brown, which I think they're going to give him enough shots there,
00:07is it the tight ends?
00:08Is it the running backs?
00:10Who's getting Drake Mays passes tonight?
00:13Diggs ain't there anymore.
00:14So, who's going to be that security blanket, I wonder?
00:18To me, this is a wide receiver pass catching by committee, at least early in the season,
00:25where it's not going to be a ton of A.J. Brown.
00:27They did go out and sign Romeo Dobbs in the offseason.
00:30You know, he can get across the middle.
00:32So, just be like, hey, you know, A.J. Brown, give us three or four.
00:35Dobbs, give us two or three.
00:36Hunter Henry, give us two or three.
00:37So, I think he's really going to spread it around tonight.
00:39I think there's a legitimate chance that we see, what, Stevenson out of the backfield,
00:44Brown, Dobbs, Douglas, Henry, and maybe someone like Matt Collins.
00:47We're going to see like six or seven different guys catch passes for the pass.
00:51I don't think it'll be anyone too dominant now.
00:53This does mean, you know, could Dobbs or Henry kind of sneak over their numbers
00:56just because they're relatively low in the high 20s, mid-30s, wherever they might be.
01:00Sure.
01:01But I don't see any one dominant performance from any player tonight.
01:06He's going to have to.
01:08And Stevenson's going to have to be able to run the ball at some particular point here.
01:12But Sam Darnold, on the other side, it looks like Jackson Smith and Jigba.
01:19Is that, are we expecting big things from him?
01:22Does he regress?
01:23You know, we're talking about a dude that was just absolutely ridiculous last year,
01:29won all the offensive awards.
01:32Again, this is mostly the same offense that they just saw seven months ago here, Tom.
01:38It really is.
01:40And, you know, frankly, Price, the rookie running back, a bit of an unknown,
01:47you know, a bit of a question mark.
01:48Like, we think he's going to be good.
01:49He isn't an offense that, you know, should enable him to be good on the ground.
01:53But outside of JSN, who I think the world of, does Rasheed Shaheed, Cooper Cup,
01:59and A.J. Barnard, do they, like, really move the needle?
02:03So, like, what it comes down to, like, do they move the needle or are they good
02:06and they can be effective because Sam Darnold's in a good system
02:10and the defense is, you know, deploying extra coverage to JSN to try and slow him down?
02:16Do those players excel because JSN is taking so much of the defense?
02:20Sometimes that's what I think.
02:21I don't think, like, Rasheed Shaheed is, like, some superior route running wide receiver.
02:25I think he gets open because he gets open and Sam Darnold finds him.
02:28I think it's as simple as that for a lot of their secondary and tertiary players.
02:33Yeah, I don't mind Shaheed for an anytime touchdown.
02:36He was a pretty good price.
02:37And this is a guy that's also going to be returning kicks.
02:41And he can absolutely take it to that.
02:43And don't be shocked if they give him an old end around, too, right?
02:47I mean, he seems to be the utility guy.
02:50And just when you least expect it, he's the guy that breaks it or gets wide open in the back.
02:55And that's the end of it.
02:56I mean, a lot of attention on Jackson Smith and Jigba.
02:59That means opportunities for guys like Rasheed Shaheed here.
03:03I think his rushing prop was two and a half yards.
03:05I was laughing.
03:07Don't be shocked.
03:08You get a little trickeration going on there, Tom.
03:11Yeah.
03:11And sure, I totally subscribe to that.
03:14I will say, you know, one of the things I will routinely talk about in football with the touchdown props
03:20is, you know,
03:21picking two players from the same team.
03:24And that would be Darian Price for me and JSN.
03:27I am playing the bowl four touchdowns.
03:29You know, they're not my main bets, as we flashed before on that graphic.
03:32These are, you know, much smaller unit plays, but they're equal unit plays, equal half unit plays or quarter unit
03:37plays, whatever you want to put out.
03:38Because as long as one of them scores, Joe, you come out net positive on that.
03:42Just very simple.
03:43If you were to put a full unit on, you put $100, you know, on each of them, you know,
03:47230, you come out to pay.
03:49As long as you get that plus 35, so you come out net positive on that.
03:52And that's how I play touchdown props a lot.
03:54I'll put a half unit on the two guys that I like most from the same team.
03:57And as long as the offense does what they do and at least one of them scores, you're home free.
04:02It's all plus money after that.
04:03Now, if they both score, which we could see in a lot of these games, maybe not tonight,
04:07that's where you really start to get the plus money and the plus units to really stack up at the
04:11start of the season.
