03:09concept of time felt fleeting on Saturday night and so the saying used to be Michigan doesn't lose

03:21this I don't expect a single Michigan fan to apologize you don't apologize for winning Michigan that put the

04:48why a team plays bad one of them is poor performance the other one is the team on the other
04:55side plays extremely well and they have a game plan that they execute to a tee now there were no

05:03plays there was no 20 plus yard plays by western Michigan but when they needed six yards they got
05:11six and a half when they needed two yards they got three and a half there was only one time

05:16third and 14 where they got 14 and a half and it's just like they executed a great game plan
05:24and those players played their butts off so yes it's gross that the way Michigan played it's gross the
05:33way that it ended and it just is it's bizarre well because you just know where I'm coming from I

05:41western to lose every football game they play until the end of time the idea that they got hosed would
05:47normally be something I would laugh at and take great glee and great joy in but it just didn't sit
05:53right with me watching triple zeros on the clock and hours later the flimsy explanation from the big
05:5810 where even in their own release they say the broadcast clock is synced and the rules analyst is
06:04saying I'm told our clock is synced and the clock shows zero yet Michigan gets that extra play and I

06:11think it would have worked the same if the shoe was on the other foot so it just doesn't sit

06:15with you when you watch the end of that game I would get on western's behalf I can't even believe
06:21I'm saying this I felt bad for them hold on oh you got the drop no no it's coming it's

07:55Toledo you start thinking about all of the you know trouble with the staff all the things that
07:59have gone wrong over the years you start thinking about that but it lasts for about 18 hours I don't
08:06even know if it lasts for 24 hours locally here it'll it'll live on but nationally everybody moves on
08:11and says oh Michigan's 0-1-1 what are they going to do against Oklahoma uh you know probably get

08:15brains beat in but you move on you're saying if this drew extra attention to their lousy performance
08:20if if if they lose we talk about it yesterday Stoney and I and then this morning we talk about
08:27it but we don't talk about it for four hours we're coming up with something else in terms of well

08:33the Lions don't have a punt returner oh who's going to be RB2 like all of these different things
08:38but the fact that they lost or they won that way extends the conversation not just for a day
08:48but it's going to be all college football season long and then everybody's going to be brought to
08:54well how were they even in that position against Western Michigan oh wait let's look at the film
08:59let's watch the highlights and then let's watch them rush the field after beating Western Michigan

09:30this is just like rubbing salt in the wound because we thought it was done and Michigan had lost to
09:38Western Michigan and if anyone else had just stepped away from the game you probably got the notification

09:53they all send out the notification Michigan lost my mother-in-law called me and said or text me
09:57I'm so sorry I'm like well it's technically not done we're still living in this misery because
10:02they're reviewing the final play and I told Doug I'm like this is this is awful they're just extending
10:07our misery just to tell us the inevitable that Michigan lost and then wait let's put a second
10:15back on the clock let's try that one again let's see if Bryce Underwood didn't learn from the Texas
10:23game because trying to come back in that one and he threw the ball four four yards out of bounds
10:27on every single you know throw down the field this time hey you're trying to win the game but he
10:32throws the ball out of the back of the end zone doesn't give any receiver or defender a chance
10:37to catch the ball right let's do it again do over well that's part of the dynamic dynamic too is
