00:00I got no worries about the Dodgers. It just doesn't seem like they're interested and they're
00:04like dropping games late. Yamamoto didn't have a great start last time out. They play the Reds.
00:09So naturally, one of these three games, the Reds will be shut out and then they'll score 10 runs
00:14in the other two. I mean, they are the weirdest team to me in baseball. And outside of Monday's
00:20matchups, you would think that they would get clobbered. The Dodgers will be minus 250 or 300
00:24in these other games. But the Reds were frisky against at least San Diego earlier in the week.
00:29Do they have a series win in them in L.A.? I don't see it, but you never know, I
00:34guess.
00:36Not a series win, but the Monday Burns-Yamamoto, that's legitimately fun. Like that is peak
00:41baseball. And, you know, to your point, the Dodgers haven't been playing well. And a part
00:46of me thinks that we're going to see just solid-ish five innings from Yamamoto, Scoobles,
00:53now maybe six innings, just because they're like, listen, we're nine games up over the
00:57Diamondbacks. And you said sleepwalking or, you know, they're just on cruise control or
01:02whatever you want to call it. I think that's what the Dodgers are doing. They're just going to be like,
01:05listen, Yamamoto could pitch seven. Scoobles could pitch seven. Do we need them to, right?
01:09Do we need them to have seven innings, 110 pitches against the Reds? No, it's like they could be out
01:14there for five, give us 85 pitches. And then we just go into the postseason super healthy, especially
01:19they, you know, they put Lauer on the IL who, listen, Eric Lauer's not a great pitcher,
01:23but they need him for bulk. If Otani's not going to come back, like, let's just get on to the
01:27postseason at health. That's all matters. Okay. So the Cardinals are, you know, hanging around here
01:33and, you know, I don't think they're going to make the playoffs at all, but credit to them,
01:37like all season long, I thought, okay, weather holds out. That's it. But there's no sort of like
01:41kicking around here to look good against the Dodgers. Now they're still on the West coast,
01:46taking on the Giants. The Giants, you know, are, are as much of a one-man show as any team
01:51in
01:51baseball? My gosh, like why, why is, uh, Raphael Devers not being talked about as like the National
01:57League's, uh, third place for MVP or fourth place? This guy is amazing on an absolute tear
02:04and facing off with three pitchers that he should be able to get to, Pallante, Quinn,
02:08Matthews, and Kyle Leahy, but he's the only guy going, I think for them. Look at that. I mean,
02:12this pitching is, oof, Roop, Tidwell, and Wilkins.
02:20It's going to be an interesting series because it, listen, the Cardinals, they don't have anything
02:25to play for. I, Cardinals are what three ish out three, three and a half out, four out,
02:30whatever it is at this point, you know, the Giants have been dead for a while at this point. Um,
02:35you
02:35know, once weather went down, I was like, okay, it's, it's wraps on the season for the Cardinals.
02:40And all of a sudden they're actually playing well, taking multiple games against the Dodgers,
02:43which is absolutely stunning. The Giants have nothing to play for, you know, could you get a
02:48good couple of performance at a, at a Devers and maybe some player props here or there. If you
02:51have still Devers on the fantasy team, whatever it might be, Alec Burleson should have put together
02:55a good series. Jordan Walker, we talked about before, like those are the things that I want
02:58to be keying on in the series because these are some terrible pitchers. And if I trust the hitters
03:02more, that's who should be coming through.
