00:00Botswana's Colin Kebinarcippi was the overwhelming favourite to win the Diamond
00:04League trophy in the men's 400 and while he didn't disappoint, he had to chase down
00:08TNT's Jareem Richards who ran the race of his life to set a new national record.
00:30He's going wild in lane four following Kebinarcippi, but Kebinarcippi just checking back a little bit there and right on
00:36the outside Jareem Richards has stormed through the first 200, Patterson coming back into it, Hudson Smith's got to get
00:42going and here comes Kebinarcippi round the bend, Kebinarcippi moving up, moving through with the stagger, he's going to come
00:49in the home straight, two metres down on Richards who surely is going to watch Kebinarcippi moving away and he
00:55does it, Kebinarcippi watching for the clock, it's going to be pretty quick.
01:0043-40, smashes, smashes the meeting record.
01:04The men's 100 metre final produced a Diamond League trophy winner as Jamaica's Oblique Seville won his first trophy in
01:119.90 seconds.
01:46And after claiming her first Diamond League trophy in the women's 100 metres in 2024, St Lucia's Julian Alvred added
01:53the 200 to her collection.
01:55And six.
01:59And away they go, good start there from Kayla White in lane four, she's already up on Amy Hunt's a
02:04little bit, really good running in the pink there from Julian Alvred in six, who leads coming to the straight
02:08marginally and really good running through from Kayla White who maybe has the better of the two outsider here, down
02:13the home straight, Amy Hunt's got some running to do here, but the power of Julian Alvred just eases her
02:18away and she takes this one by a metre and a half there.
02:21Second Kayla White, third Amy Hunt, and the time 21.79.
