00:27from the hit friday 13th the game comes a new look for jason vorhees this fully articulated
00:33seven inch scale action figure features interchangeable heads including one with
00:37light piping for glowing effect in the eyes plus more accessories comes in the collector-friendly
00:41window box packaging with opening front flap well it still is the season of summertime barbecuing
00:46one good thing at least about inviting jason he can bring his own fork
00:50before we actually find out whereabouts he got his fork i can tell you it's from downstairs
00:55no not the guy that's currently living on the first floor the guy downstairs let's take first
01:00tape measure and see how uh we'll figure out things we'll figure out things grab this one over on ebay
01:05paid a little bit more for him but at least i can finally have this guy as part of my
01:09collection
01:09he skirts around that hole it's from the video game well to be fair though the savini jason was
01:15really from the video game but that seems to be where neck has been getting around the license
01:19and at least collectors of friday the 13th merch are happy that they could jason from you know where
01:25stands eight inches in height working out to be a figure that's 20 centimeters tall
01:30i have no idea what the mail service would be if he wants to send postcards to his mom but

01:34what the figure looks like with the ultimate pamela vorhees i'm not going to bring in all my jasons but
01:38at least i'll bring in a couple sorry mom i'm just going to move you over just a little bit

01:47we'll also bring in ultimate sevens when you look at the other jasons that neca has released this one
01:51comes with a little lighter of baggage granted though he cares a whole lot more baggage considering
01:56where he comes from the figure though of jason does come include some swappable hands i'm making a
02:00whole mess of everything right now though on the ends of his forearms he has a pair of relaxed hands
02:05those in a in a quick in a in a fix you can swap them out then for gripping hands

02:10hold the trend i love the look of these charred hands look how good they look not only do they
02:15look charred but they have a little bit of shine to them as well i wonder if they're starting to

02:20that's so gross the figure does also come include with another pair of gripping hands just slightly
02:25smaller get a load of this he does come include with lucifer's pitchfork i love the look of this
02:31what chance would there be that neca would ever release a one-to-one scale of this oh i could
02:37just imagine that crossing the borders going through of course the x-rays oh what's this a
02:41pitchfork oh don't worry it comes from satan the pitchfork though is fantastic i mean it doesn't
02:48really have much in the way of paint i guess you could really have splattered a little bit of blood

02:53there outside of that though i mean it's just a really neat looking sculpt and it's something
02:58different than your traditional machetes axes has technically had a pitchfork but nothing though
03:04that the level of coolness that this is um he does also come include with a smoke effect piece
03:10i wish though it had a little more fire to it and a lot less smoke i mean i like
03:15the look of this don't
03:16get me wrong but just adding i mean there's a few little burnt embers that are sort of sparking and
03:21flying in the air i guess really that would be enough i mean do we really need to be stickler

03:26this we need to have a whole lot more i tell you though what would be cool had there been
03:30a way that
03:31they could have lit up the torso because this is where this is going to go and if you clip
03:36this on
03:36the torso had that illuminated through the shoulder for example i'm getting ahead of myself here let me
03:42just show you though where that goes when you take the fire i guess if that doesn't really matter
03:47you can have it this way you could have it facing the other way so if you flipped it this
03:51way this
03:52way around this doesn't stay as well but you can have a little bit further down on the shoulder
03:56i think really the correct way is the larger smoke goes around the front and sort of clips onto his
04:02shoulder that way now it's a pretty heavy figure it's one of the heaviest in fact of the ultimate
04:08jasons that we have gotten but had there only been a way that they could have incorporated a battery
04:13component piece he has illuminated eyes but it's cheating by the fact it's light piping
04:18but had this piece right in here right where i'm pointing right now if that had lit up and been
04:25able
04:25to shine through the smoke how cool would that have ever been still though it's a it's a good
04:30conversation piece to have this on the shelf imagine like your friends coming by walking past
04:35and seeing your traditional jasons and then all of a sudden get a good gander at this guy here
04:40that is awesome love the look of that he does also come include some swappable heads now
04:46i did say already that the figure does have glowing eyes it's i don't want to say it's false
04:51advertising it is glowing eyes but it's glowing only by the sense that it does actually have light
04:55piping so he gets two removed headpiece or two removed mask heads one that is painted to glow and
05:03one that does actually glow now the way that they glowed this and let me just grab myself my phone
05:09light here just shining the light it's this strip here of of clear kind of translucent what color
05:15would you say that is orange just going to shine that just to the back of it that's how you
05:20get
05:20the light effect it doesn't rely solely on batteries though i mean obviously the batteries
05:25would be a little bit more expensive but i think you know to fix around the issue and keep the
05:30cost
05:30still low i think having this illuminate on the back is probably a good idea it would only just mean
05:35though you'd have to have always a light source behind it if you did want to use this face now
05:39i know what you're probably already screaming at the monitors wait a minute wait a minute guy
05:43i want to have this guy at least with a mask well he has a mask already with the stock
05:48head sculpt but
05:49the mask on this one is not removable so if you kind of want everything together and you don't so
05:54much care about jason with his face removed with his mask removed this would then be the better
05:58option to go with this is the head that he comes with when you get him out of the packaging
06:03he does however though come included with a separate mask spirit halloween at one point and
06:09i did do a review of it i like it last year did a pretty cool pretty accurate savini mask

06:15with the claws there on the front these are all of course war wounds so you know savini tried to
06:20match as best he could all the inflicted damage that jason would have gotten over the movies so of
06:25course he's got the broken out front face piece missing of course from the end of what part six the
06:30beginning of part seven where we start to see it um yeah it's just really cool and of course he's
06:35got
06:35the claw marks you could say that's the remains of freddy uh freddy krueger but really really cool
06:39what you can do though with this is you can put it on the painted face so this is again
06:44it is what
06:44the painted face looks like it looks like if you imagined dark man but in a nightmare love dark man

06:52the way take the mask the mask fits just then over this face kind of want to line everything up
06:58to make
06:59sure that you got everything lined just right there we go it adds volume i mean it you find yourself
07:06constantly constantly trying to readjust the mask just to make sure you've got it in the right place
07:11i think i've got one of the eyes glowing through it right now so that again is the painted eyes
07:17to show you again what that's going to look like now i'm going to swap the heads out in a
07:20second so
07:21you guys can get a better look at this take this and put this now on the light piped face
07:27just again bring the mask around you're always going to feel like you're readjusting things

07:37course i need it close it's always blasted apps
07:43okay there we go do we have it oh always constantly i'm just i just want to use i just

07:58the light behind it there we go it's a little lopsided but it shows you at least that jason's eyes
08:04can shine straight through the the mask and again it's all just really relying on this
08:10let's turn that off and not be bothered by apps anymore so again if you wanted to this head could
08:15then technically be swapped out with the one that he has right now the head differences
08:20i'm realizing i don't have this completely straight
08:24there we go the head differences are very similar i don't feel like you're wrong necessarily if you
08:30just want to keep with this head because size wise they're very similar it's just that this does have
08:35the light piping this just doesn't uh changing out the heads by the way just hold on to the torso
08:40don't let go whatever you do pop the head off the ball ball joint and again we just have to
08:45wiggle
08:45this back and forth one thing that he does have is the collar of chain now the chain is loose
08:52here
08:52but it looks like though they've glued it to the top of his shoulder so it prevents at least the
08:57chain from going anywhere else just put that back over where we found it take the light piped jason
09:05we'll just go ahead and pop the head onto the ball joint you always kind of feel like if things
09:11are
09:11very finicky because you want to make sure of course the mask is i guess to be fair you really
09:15could have put the mask on afterwards but you also want to make sure too that the chain is wrapped
09:19around the ball joint before you put the head back on because it's not going to be able to fit

09:24top of his head i say that now let's just make sure i got it all the way on there
09:29straighten out things
09:31i think we're good to go so again like the chain wraps all the way around the neck it goes
09:36down kind
09:37of the front very similar to ghost rider and it's wrapped around his waist i know i'm basically just
09:42describing the things that you're currently looking at right now he's got shackles too which is kind of
09:45cool and he also has chains wrapped around his arm this arm doesn't have that has all these cool like
09:52burn marks everything is charred here there has been some issues reported where people haven't had
09:58as good of a paint job here on the torso by only just lady luck alone mine seems to be

10:03just the charred look to that you got a few little scapped pieces there as well some burn on the
10:08shoulder burn on his arm i mean who are we kidding here this guy's burned everywhere he is like i

10:14heavy he's a lot heavier than all the other jasons and i guess a lot of that maybe is the
10:18leg the leg
10:18feels solid hard plastic show you guys what it looks like also in the back as well just nice cool
10:24rips that he has on the backs and tears there too what a neat looking jason what a neat looking
10:30jason and
10:30again we had to kind of skirt things around the license in order to get this guy first if he
10:35needs
10:35jason's articulation the head's going to be in a ball joint not just that though the ball joint is a
10:40post
10:41and then there's a ball joint here and a ball joint here so between those two you actually can get
10:46quite
10:46a lot of stuff moving on jason's head his arms do rotate all the way around this section here does
10:52feel like it's a little softer of a plastic not really sure i guess they're probably going to just be
10:57using torso overlays when it comes to future jasons his arms in the meantime though hinge out
11:02and one thing that's cool about this figure is he does have a double hinge in the elbow
11:06most jasons just to show you guys here so he has a bend here and the bend is so hard
11:13to kind of see
11:13because you're so used to generally seeing just a hinge here but he actually does have a secondary one
11:17so it bends here and then it bends here most jasons by now have only generally had single hinges
11:24in the elbows so it's nice to see that this one doesn't it does lose a little something because
11:29of course now you've got a visible hinge but i mean really the other jasons had that too
11:32hands rotate all the way around you can hinge them back and forth the top of the torso is despite
11:37looking like it's all kind of one piece the top is actually on its own separate ball joint and it
11:42moves quite freely around legs and again heavy plastic on the legs they split they go forward and
11:49back a little bit of a swivel there at the top of the thigh single hinge only for the knee
11:53but look
11:54how clever this is there's a hinge but the hinge doesn't just cut off so it actually does still look
12:01like a finished knee it doesn't really have so much the paint here on the top continue its way
12:05through but it's a really clean looking joint on that knee that's probably i'm sure what we're going
12:12to be getting with future jasons uh then for his feet i know we didn't really spend whole much time
12:15talking about it pegs by the way on the bottoms of his feet but they uh they're a little more
12:20limited there's not as much really that you can do with them i mean yeah they move forward and back
12:24not so much though up and down but i guess a figure like this doesn't necessarily need to have that
12:29level
12:29of possibility jason is a little skimped when it comes to his accessories but i mean again like
12:36what does he really necessarily need he's got his himself his shoulder smoke i think that's pretty cool
12:42he comes of course included with lucifer's trident and how cool is that and again he comes with some
12:47swappable head sculpts i don't know i guess if you did want to still have a glowing eye on jason
12:53he
12:53didn't have to always really rely on shining a light behind his head then again this would be a good
12:59head sculpt then to go with if you don't like having to worry about always having the masks coming
13:04off or readjusting them then he has just a stock head sculpt it just doesn't have glowing eyes to it
13:10and of course he does also have the removable mask which the mask then works really well you know
13:14again if you want to have him unmasked who in the really right mind is going to be having jason
13:18displayed without his i guess i guess part three i have had jason's from part three displayed without
13:24his mask just a cool looking jason this is sort of now the start and i guess also this week
13:29as well
13:29we looked at the pamela shrine i don't know if jason's really visiting the pamela shrine from where he's
13:35come from but uh having this being kind of worked around the whole thing about this being from the
13:40friday 13 video game is giving at least neka a chance and us a chance to get jason that we
13:45never
13:45thought we'd ever see well this guy again is very more firmly rooted from the friday 13 video game
13:51the fact that we are even having this discussion and talking about how good this savini jason is
13:57is again way that neck has worked around this good or bad you could kind of say it's a little
14:02gray
14:02but the gray at least worked better out for us we're getting brand new figures from it i know
14:07i must be a very hard man to read but i do quite like the savini jason here a continued
14:13trend now
14:14of brand new jason that we will be getting shortly with of course already looking at this one in the
14:19pamela shrine quoting under the friday the 13th the video game or i think it was just friday 13th the
14:25game is now allotting us not just savini's jason the shrine of pamela but now also jason takes
14:31manhattan from part eight and jason goes to hell from part nine jason has gone to hell jason has now
14:37come back and he has come back a cooler looking jason although i don't think there's anything that's
14:41cooled off on him at all he looks painful if he had any any feelings left in his body i
14:49could only
14:49just imagine how much screaming inside he's actually doing i like that they've given him the charred look
14:55that he has from the game i like that his eyes light up be fair though the lighting is only

15:00there by the you know just the fact that it's light piping it doesn't really rely on any batteries i
15:06mean they've kind of done something with the predator figures that i was kind of hoping they
15:09could have done here with the savini jason where there was a built-in component piece where his eyes
15:13could have lit up or one maybe even better like i said in this review had there been a way
15:18to have
15:18the shoulder area light up he's heavy i don't think by adding additional battery components or
15:24electronics would have added at any more weight than what he is right now adding then some wrapped
15:29around chains that he has different swappable head sculpts he is a very cool looking jason despite
15:36really where he's coming from what do you guys think of savini's jason let me know down below uh was
15:41this a character a character skin no pun intended was this a skin that you played often in the game

15:46the game doesn't exist anymore i i just played it actually a couple of weeks ago i never unlocked
15:52savini's jason but i was just playing as the og jason couldn't play online but half the time i really
15:57wasn't playing online anyways because a lot of times i was playing against real cheap people i hope
