New configuration of the Russian helicopter receives improved thermal, acoustic and vibration insulation while retaining capabilities for transport, search and rescue, and aeromedical support

The Mi-171A3 helicopter is being presented for the first time at the Eastern Economic Forum in a configuration featuring an upgraded passenger cabin. The aircraft is part of the Russian Helicopters group’s exhibition during the 11th edition of the event, held in Vladivostok, Russia.

The main change is in the passenger cabin, which has received additional layers of thermal, acoustic and vibration insulation. The solution is intended to improve comfort during longer-duration operations, particularly in regions characterized by low temperatures, long distances and limited infrastructure.
