The new modernized version of Russia’s advanced trainer receives radar, optical sensors, and enhanced combat capabilities.
The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) and Rostec have announced that the first prototype of the Yak-130M has been completed and is ready to begin ground testing. The aircraft was built at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, operated by Yakovlev.
According to the manufacturer, the Yak-130M is an upgraded version of the Yak-130 advanced trainer, designed to expand its combat capabilities and adaptability for operational missions.
