India and Uzbekistan elevated their bilateral relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and agreed on a long-term uranium supply framework to support India's nuclear power program. The two leaders decided to establish a foreign-minister-level Coordination Council and upgrade their joint commission from secretary level to ministerial level. They also agreed to host a bilateral business summit and promote sister-city arrangements connecting India's GIFT City with New Tashkent. During the visit, PM Modi received Uzbekistan's highest state honour, the Order of Oliy Darajali Do'stlik.
