00:08Prime Minister is set to receive UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nayan at the

00:17Remember, he was invited by the Prime Minister and now it seems the PM will be receiving

00:25Shivani, this is quite important and especially since we have seen a significant deepening
00:31of ties between the two countries since Modi government came over.
00:37Certainly, Anjali, this is a gesture which has been quite special with some of the leaders
00:45of the world where Prime Minister Narendh Modi has been receiving them at the airport.
00:50And today when the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nayan, President of the United Arab Emirates
00:57is in India, Prime Minister Narendh Modi, according to the sources, has already reached Palam airport
01:03to receive him.
01:05And 4.20 was the time when he was to land at the airport station Palam.
01:09And from there, there was a meeting scheduled for 4.45 at Prime Minister Narendh Modi's LKM
01:16residence.
01:16So, it is very clear now, Anjali, that when Prime Minister Narendh Modi has already gone
01:22to receive the President of UAE and he's here for a very short visit, for a very short
01:27span of around two hours, it's quite likely that Prime Minister and the President of UAE
01:32will be travelling in the same car.
01:33The new gesture which we've seen that Prime Minister Narendh Modi has been sharing the
01:38same car with the dignitaries, with the world leaders who are close to him, like President
01:43Putin of Russia.
01:44And now, Prime Minister Narendh Modi is at the Palam airport and from there, he will
01:49be receiving the UAE President and there will be a discussion on a number of issues.
01:54Strategic ties are to be strengthened.
01:56There are some issues regarding the defence and economy that are to be discussed.

02:06So, we can understand that this is a brief meeting, but a very important one, where Prime Minister

03:11UAE and India.
03:13And UAE remains one of the key trading and investment partners, we must remember.
03:17And now, when we are also witnessing that there are comprehensive economic partnership agreements
03:23between both the countries, the local currency settlement system is also an important part
03:29that is being discussed.
03:31And the partnership is also anchored in the robust energy relationship.
03:36The energy happens to be one of the very important points that India and UAE have been sharing,

03:42So when Prime Minister Narendh Modi and President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed are expected to review
03:47the full spectrum of the bilateral ties, this is going to be a very important meeting.
03:51And there are some announcements to be made later when this meeting is completed by the
03:57Ministry of External Affairs to announce what has been decided or what was the agenda of
04:02this meeting.
04:03There are certain MOUs that are to be signed during this meeting and the announcements will
