Jinggoy Estrada in hospital after jail fall injures knee
Detained Sen. Jinggoy Estrada arrives at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan for his scheduled X-ray operation on Aug. 26, 2026 after his left knee 'snapped' sue to a fall inside the Quezon City jail. The Sandiganbayan Fifth Division, which is handling Estrada’s plunder case, allowed him to leave detention for up to four hours.
