00:00Let's remember that the same prosecutor will also resolve the cases filed by Kiboloy against Senator Rizonte Veros, Representative Percy
00:08Zendania, and Representative Laila Delima.
00:18News.
00:20Hindi ba ang good thing to do for him is to have inhibited from this case if he is indeed
00:26related to Halliburth?
00:28The prosecution's service must never become the weapon of a political family or its allies.
00:34I call on the Secretary of Justice to order an independent review of the cases involving Prosecutor Abanseria and the
00:42Davao City Prosecutor's Office.
00:45Third, the police must explain their priorities and their treatment of kakitek.
00:51We recognize the duty to implement lawful warrants, but the manner of implementation must still be reasonable and proportionate.
01:00Philip was arrested on a Saturday over a case filed in Davao.
01:03Securing documents and arranging bail became a scramble.
01:08A person's access to bail should not depend on whether his lawyers can overcome a weekend obstacle course.
Andito po sila ngayon, no?
01:24Why was a 72-year-old journalist placed in handcuffs?
01:28Did he resist? Did he attempt to escape?
01:30Did he threaten anyone?
01:33Nakakatakbo ba ba lang mabilis kung sigaipin?
01:36The police should identify the specific circumstances that justify the restraint.
01:49Eh, bawal daw eh.
01:51No?
01:51Pero nagtataka naman kami, which will be discussed later.
02:12Ang kaso po ni Sara Duterte, threat against the life of the President, First Lady, and Speaker of the House.
02:31And we ask, are authorities showing the same vigor in pursuing fugitive Senator Bato Dalarosa and Atong Ang?
02:40Bakit pagka yung totoong accuse of crimes against humanity, the most heinous crime,
02:46at ang supposedly reason kung bakit sila pinupusasan,
02:49is because they're a threat and menace to society,
02:51bakit hindi mapusasan at mahuli?
02:55Pero yung matandang journalist na nagtatanong,
02:58napusasan, nahuli, even on a Saturday.
03:02You have shown your vigor to find a journalist who is a senior citizen.
03:07We urge the Philippine National Police to show the same determination
03:10when pursuing people with power and connections
03:13who are accused of the most heinous crimes.
03:18The public also saw Philippine in handcuffs while Vice President Sala Luterte appeared before a court
03:24and posted bail without the same treatment.
03:27We are demanding equal treatment and respect regardless of your position or status.
03:32No official should be treated as untouchable.
03:34No journalist should be treated as an easy target.
03:37Finally, and this is our call, and we'll discuss it a little bit more in depth later.
03:43Finally, Congress must decriminalize LIDL and cyber-LIDL.
03:47We supported or I supported decriminalization before CA-IPES arrest.
03:52This experience reinforces why reform is urgent.
03:56Reputations, of course, deserve protection.
03:59But journalists must be accountable for false and malicious statements.
04:04Effective civil remedies should be available to those who suffer harm.
04:34We need to continue topling ITV, but to make
04:39You
