00:00As a Jet fan, I envisioned four wins when camp began.
00:03I've watched both preseason games.
00:05There have certainly been some encouraging things.
00:07Surprisingly, their defense has looked very good
00:10if you want to take anything out of preseason and out of training camp.
00:13But at the end of the day, I have a tough time gaining the optimism
00:16that even Joe has, which is that they're going to be better than people think.
00:20I have a tough time buying that.
00:21And I think the thing I'm struggling with on the Jet side
00:24is who the head coach is and who the quarterback is.
00:26Right.
00:26Like, I'd love to be wrong about Aaron Glenn.
00:28I think we all do.
00:30But it is also, like, tough to sit here on August 25th and say,
00:35you know, the Jets are going to surprise people.
00:37Based on what?
00:38Like, what would I be saying that about other than I wear green and white pants?
00:42Like, what would get me to say that?
00:45And so I want this to be a great season.
00:47And again, I think the defense has probably been the most encouraging thing
00:51I've seen so far here in the preseason.
00:53And maybe David Bailey is going to be that superstar we've been waiting for.
00:57But offensively, the Jets need to be a top 12 unit if they're going to be good.
01:02And the quarterback is still Geno Smith.
01:04So I ask the Jet fans, and I'm certainly one of them,
01:08I still have a tough time getting giddy.
