San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York is facing renewed scrutiny after details emerged about his recent arrest in Ohio following a prostitution sting.

According to court records and police reports, York allegedly responded to an advertisement on a website authorities identified as being linked to prostitution and arranged a meeting involving $140. The meeting was set near the Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community in East Palestine, where officers from the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force intercepted him.

York was initially charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. The prostitution charge was later reduced, and he pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools as part of a deal.

His legal team attempted to have the court records sealed, but the request was denied. The NFL has said the incident will be reviewed under its Personal Conduct Policy, which applies to team owners as well as players and staff.

The 49ers declined to comment, saying the legal matter had concluded.
