01:32There are simply fewer management positions and fewer large organisations to employ people.
01:37So this can mean fewer promotion opportunities.
01:39On the flip side, the state's ageing workforce can free up job opportunities.
01:45And artificial intelligence may be less of a disruptor in Tasmania compared with other states.
01:51I think it will actually have a lower proportional effect in Tasmania.
01:54Primarily because we do have a large proportion of our economy in making things.
01:58So the larger agricultural sector and mining and manufacturing.
02:01It comes during a difficult year for manufacturing in Tasmania with potentially more pain to come.
