05:40jesus went to a town called nine accompanied by his disciples and a great number of people
05:47when he was near the great gate of the town it happened that a dead man was being carried out
05:53for
05:53burial the only son of his mother and she was a widow
05:59and a considerable number of the town's people were with her
06:03when the lord saw her he felt sorry for her
06:07do not cry he said
06:10then he went up and put his hand on the buyer
06:13and the bearer stood still and he said
06:17young man i tell you to get up
06:20and the dead man sat up and began to talk
06:22and jesus gave him to his mother
06:26everyone was filled with awe and praised god saying
06:31a great prophet has appeared among us
06:35god has visited his people
06:38and this opinion of him spread throughout judea and all over the countryside
06:46the gospel of the lord
06:57the lord
06:57blessed are you lord god full creation for through your goodness we have received the bread we offer you
07:02fruit of the earth and work of human hands it will become for us the bread of life
07:34the bread of life
07:37of human hands, it will become our spiritual drink, humble spirit and contrite, let me
07:43be a sacrifice of my sins, wash away my sins, pray brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice
07:58and yours may be acceptable to God, the Almighty Father, sacrifice at your hands, for the praise
08:05and glory of his name. We bring you these sacrificial gifts, O Lord, to commemorate Blessed Monica,
08:16humbly enthrasing, that they may bestow on us both pardon and salvation through Christ
08:22our Lord. Amen. The Lord be with you. Lift up your hearts. Let us give thanks, O Lord,
08:30our God. It is right and just. It is truly right and just our duty and our salvation always
08:39and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, through Christ
08:46our Lord. For in the marvelous confession of your saints, you make your church fruitful with
08:53strength ever new, and offer us sure signs of your love, and that your saving mysteries
09:00may be fulfilled, their great example lends us courage, their fervent prayers sustain us
09:07in all we do. And so, Lord, with all the angels and saints, we too give you thanks, as in
09:14exhortation
09:15and we acclaim, Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of whose heaven and earth are full of your glory,
09:24asanae in the highest. Blessed is you who comes in the name of the Lord, asanae in the highest.
09:32You are indeed holy, O Lord, the founder of all holiness. Make holy therefore these gifts we
09:39pray by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the body
09:46and
09:47blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion,
09:56he took bread and giving thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying,
10:02Take this, all of you, and eat of it. For this is my body, which will be given up for
10:12you.
10:26In a similar way, when Sabravasi entered, he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks,
10:32he gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and drink from it. For this is the
10:41chalice of
10:41my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be poured out for you,
10:49and for many, for forgiveness of sins. Do this in memory of me.
11:06The mystery of faith, when we eat this bread and bring this cup, proclaim your death all over,
11:13until you come again.
11:17Therefore, we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection. We offer you, Lord,
11:22the bread of life and the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in
11:28your presence and minister to you. Humbly, we pray that partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
11:35we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the
11:42world and bring that to the fullness of charity, together with Leo XIV, the Pope, Charles our Bishop,
11:49and all the clergy. Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of
11:57the resurrection, and all who have died in your mercy. Welcome them into the light of your face.
12:06Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
12:11blessed Rose of the Spouse, with the blessed Apostles and all the saints, who have pleased you
12:17throughout the ages, we may merit to be cohesed to eternal life, and may praise and glorify you,
12:24through your Son, Jesus Christ.
12:31Through him, and with him, and in him, O God Almighty, Father,
12:36in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, forever and ever.
12:49At the Saviour's command and formed by divine teaching, we died to say, Our Father, who art in
12:56heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thou will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give
13:05us this day
13:05our daily bread to forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,
13:12and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray from every evil,
13:21graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin
13:28and
13:29safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
13:36For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.
13:41Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your Apostles, peace I live you, my peace I give you,
13:47look not on our sins, but on the faith of your church,
13:50and graciously grant our peace and unity in accordance with your will,
13:55who live and reign forever and ever. The peace of the Lord be with you always.
14:01Let's all pray to the sign of these things.
14:12Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the whole half-mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take
14:19away the
14:19sins of the whole half-mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the whole of
14:25his grandest peace.
14:37Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to
14:43the
14:43support of the Lamb. Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my room, but only say the
14:49word and my soul shall be healed.
14:52My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament. I love you above all things,
14:59and I desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
15:06come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace you as if you were already there,
15:11and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
15:18Let us pray. May the working of this divine sacrament enlighten and inflame us, almighty God,
15:28on this feast day of St. Monica, that we may be ever fervent with holy desires,
15:36and abound in good works, through Christ our Lord. The Lord be with you.
15:44Your mighty God bless you, Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
15:49May the Holy Spirit let us go and live the gospel. Thanks be to God. Have a wonderful day. God
15:55bless you.
