00:00High school was very rough. I was in and out of mental health hospitals. I was hospitalized two
00:06to three different times. I was on different medications. And I went to my local police
00:11department and I was not believed. I was told, well, you're a man. Why didn't you fight him off?
00:17Well, don't you think I tried? Why do you think I'm here? I'm telling you something that is very
00:21deep and personal to me. One night I went and got on social media and I learned about conversion
00:27therapy. I remember walking into this dark room. There was a projector. There was a screen. And
00:33then there was that pastor. And I remember just having different wires. I remember him attaching
00:41these wires to different parts of my body. I remember the first time that I felt a shock
00:46go through my body. I was thinking like, what is happening right now? What's going on? I got
00:51another shock. And I remember thinking, this is common. And I went through that for two and a
00:58half years. I remember sitting at tables and reading Bible verses. I remember, you know,
01:02hearing these things told to me over and over and over again.
