00:00Who are you with?
00:01I'm with CNN.
00:02Fake news.
00:03You're fake news.
00:05You're a loud, boisterous person.
00:08You're fake news.
00:08Be quiet.
00:09Be quiet.
00:11Be quiet.
00:43How do you respond to folks who say that you are prioritizing the interests of adversaries
00:48in North Korea over our long-time partners by scaling back these military exercises?
00:52I'm making it much safer.
00:54You see, I'm actually making it much safer.
00:57Kim Jong-un has always treated me with great respect.
01:02And we met on numerous occasions, actually, two primary occasions, spoken and spent time.
01:11I understand him.
01:13He understands me.
01:15You're doing war games.
01:16I get along with him.
01:18You know, he didn't like Biden.
01:19He didn't like Obama.
01:21He didn't like anybody.
01:23But I get along with him very well.
01:25No, what I'm doing is making things safer.
01:27Just the opposite.
01:28Did he ask us?
01:29Mr. President.
01:30Quiet.
01:32Quiet.
01:32You're very disrespectful in front of this young man.
01:35Okay?
01:36Don't you find her disrespectful?
01:38He understands.
01:39Quiet.
01:40Who are you with?
01:41I'm with CNN.
01:42Fake news.
01:43You're fake news.
01:45You're a loud, boisterous person.
01:48You're fake news.
01:49Be quiet.
01:50Be quiet.
01:51Be quiet.
01:53You're a fake reporter and you report fake news.
01:56Go ahead.
01:57Why hasn't Kim Jong-un responded to your request to have a conversation?
02:00How do you know he hasn't responded?
02:02Has he?
02:05Yeah, he has.
02:06Did you speak to him?
02:10I'm very positive.
02:11Well, just so you understand with South Korea.
02:13Look, South Korea has been protected by us for many, many years.
02:18And during my first term, they agreed to pay close to $3 billion a year for protection.
02:23Because we don't, you know, they essentially weren't banned.
02:26And I asked them to do that.
02:28At my request, I said, not right.
02:29They weren't happy about it, but they agreed.
02:33I asked for $10 billion.
02:36And they were very unhappy.
02:38But we agreed for a short term that it would be $3 billion.
02:41The next year would go up and the next year would go up.
02:43So they start paying for their protection.
02:46When the election was rigged and I ended up watching for four years and then coming back,
02:51I watched Biden rescind that $3 billion a year for whatever reason.
02:57When I called recently the president of South Korea, who I like, I think he's very nice, actually.
03:03But I called him.
03:04I said, would you like to give us a little hand?
03:05We don't need help with Iran.
03:07But if you'd like, give us a hand with Iran.
03:10He said, no, thanks.
03:12And I said, wait a minute.
03:13We have 39,000 soldiers over there guarding you from Kim Jong-un, your next-door neighbor.
03:21And you're not going to help us on a very easy military operation in Iran?
03:26That's strange.
03:27No, no, we'd rather not get involved.
03:29I said, well, why are we involved in helping you?
03:33So, and I want to help them.
03:35But, you know, when you ask somebody, would you like to give us a hand?
03:39And they say, no, thanks.
03:40And then we're guarding them from a country and paying ourselves billions of dollars,
03:46costing us billions and billions of dollars to protect not only them,
03:51but other countries.
03:51Look at NATO.
03:53We spend hundreds of billions of dollars protecting Europe from Russia.
04:00Hundreds of billions, mostly from Russia, but from other things, too.
04:04And then they say, well, they don't want to get involved with getting right where they get most of their
04:10oil.
04:11They get 50% of their oil, and they don't want to get involved.
04:14Why are we doing it?
04:15So all I want is fairness.
04:17And South Korea, I get along with them very well.
04:19But they were paying $3 billion a year, and then they convinced Biden that I was probably a bad person,
04:26and they shouldn't, and he immediately rescinded that order.
04:29So we were getting paid.
04:30We would have been getting paid a lot more.
04:32But we can't go around and protect all of these countries, especially when they're not there to help us.
