00:00Well today we're suggesting that the UK should join the EU Migration and Asylum Pact.
00:06That's going to give us a proper structured agreement with our European Union neighbours.
00:11It will mean that we are sharing data with them so people will not be able to claim asylum in
00:16the EU and then in the UK,
00:18ending that double dipping which has happened as a result of Brexit.
00:22It's going to mean that we have a proper structured returns agreement
00:25and it means that we will have a safe and controlled way to manage our asylum system.
00:30And if you compare that to the Reform Party suggesting deploying the Navy in the Channel which is absurd and
00:36irresponsible,
00:37the Conservatives and the Reform Party saying leave the ECHR, rip up our British people's rights to tackle the small
00:43boats crisis,
00:44which it won't by the way, and the Labour Party's position which is the one-in-one-out deal with
00:49France.
00:49We're the ones with the comprehensive serious plan and the other parties simply are not being serious about this issue.
