Bangladesh launches women-only Pink Bus service in Dhaka
Bangladesh launched a women-only "Pink Bus" service in Dhaka on Tuesday, featuring female drivers and conductors to offer women a dedicated, secure transit option. SK Fahima Sanja, one of the service's drivers, expressed hope for the future, saying, "I hope many more female drivers will be trained in the coming days, and that we will succeed in reaching our goal." For women passengers across the capital, the initiative provides a welcome way to travel with greater comfort and ease.
