00:00People have made some giant explosions in Minecraft, but I want to make the biggest.
00:05Bruh, I can't even see that far.
00:07So today, I will be attempting to build the biggest TNT block in Minecraft and filling it with, you guessed
00:13it, TNT.
00:14Wait, what the heck?
00:15And by the end of this video, we are going to be exploding it.
00:18And hopefully my PC survives.
00:21So let's start by building it right here.
00:23First, I'm going to build the outside of the TNT, which is going to take a while.
00:27Oh, come on, I was almost done.
00:29Then, I'm going to fill the inside with thousands of TNT.
00:32And after that, I'll build a series of machines that will eventually explode the whole thing in a cool way.
00:36And finally, I'll dig a tunnel that will allow me to press a detonation button from a safe distance, because
00:41I'm not trying to die.
00:43And if you're wondering why I'm building this, well, I said this.
00:46I'll place one block of TNT on my SMP for every subscriber gained.
00:51And...
00:53Yeah.
00:53So I have a lot of building to do.
00:55And trust me, there was a lot.
00:57So I'm just going to speed this part up.

01:01And after an hour of placing blocks, that is the first pixel done.
01:05Wait, no.
01:06I still need to do these three blocks.

01:09I'm just going to cut it to when this is done for you guys.

01:16So now I just have to build the center.

01:17And after placing a couple hundred more blocks, that is the base layer complete.
01:22So now we can start building the sides.
01:24So I'm going to have to get more stuff.

01:28And while I was over here, I realized how big this thing actually is.
01:32Now if you notice over here, I can actually look at each individual pixel and represent
01:37it with a singular block.
01:38So one pixel on the minute TNT is one block here.
01:42And one block here is actually eight blocks on the actual thing.
01:46A little confusing, but basically math.
01:49So let's just finish that.
01:50And I should have everything I need to build this in these shulkers here.
01:53Wait, where is my black wool and black concrete?
01:57Well, now I got to go fly back to my wool farm.
01:59And hopefully there's enough wool in here.

02:03And now we just got to get the concrete from my base, which should be about here.

02:12And I actually forgot where my concrete is.

02:17Let's just get all of this.
02:18And now I have everything I need to build the sides of the TNT.

02:25Bro, this thing is so big, I can't even render all of it with 10 render distance.
02:30The last block of the T, boom.
02:32And after a while of placing blocks, we are officially done with one side of the TNT.
02:37Bro, this thing is giant.
02:38Oh, so now all I have to do is do this three more times.
02:42And also do the top.
02:44Here goes the next 12 hours of my life.
02:46Oh, my gosh.
02:50That is the fourth side done, and it is starting to look pretty big as you can see.
02:55So now all we need for the exterior is the roof, which is going to be done right now.
03:00Which means we are done with step one of this whole project.
03:03And it already looks insane.
03:04But just wait, because it gets even crazier at the end of the video.
03:07And even though we've made some good progress, there's one massive problem.

03:22Oh, also there's another problem.
03:23I have zero TNT.
03:25And in order to craft it, I need two things.
03:27Sand and gunpowder.
03:28But luckily for me, on this server, people build farms everywhere.
03:31And I happen to know where a super fast sand farm is.
03:33And in order to get to it, I actually need to fly down here into the stronghold.
03:37Oh god, hold on.
03:38Wait, why is there no water bottom?
03:40Oh, fuck.
03:42You saw nothing.
03:43Okay, so here's the farm.
03:44And, um, it's just not here.
03:47What?
03:47Well, that's fine, because I can build it myself.
03:49And it's actually really simple.
03:51See, it utilizes a glitch by pushing sand with pistons into these missing end frame blocks.
03:55And basically dupes the sand.
03:57Don't ask me how that works.
03:58We do not question it.
03:59So let's just break this.
04:00Put that there.
04:01Do this.
04:02And done.
04:03Now let's just turn it on.
04:04And there we go.
04:06Okay, my ears are dying.
04:08Hold up.
04:08So now let's just add the sand, and we can try it out.
04:12Uh, where did the sand go?
04:14Uh, okay, so it's not working.
04:17I might be cooked.
04:18But instead of giving up, I just looked up a different design that uses the portal inside the end.
04:22And so, I started building it.
04:24And this actually requires me to break bedrock, so hopefully this works.
04:30Whoa.
04:30Okay, now I just have to do it two more times, and place a couple blocks.
04:34And there.
04:35This should work.
04:36I hope.

04:42But now, I need to go to the overworld so I can set up the...

04:47That thing.
04:48So this is the collector, and if I just put a trapdoor here, that should get rid of all that,

04:52That is satisfying.
04:53And there's a lot.
04:55This is only a few seconds of use.
04:57Imagine AFKing this for like, one hour.
04:59But after waiting for all the sand to fall down, that is the collection system done.
05:03So now let's just go back to the end to AFK.
05:08Okay, anyways.
05:09You know, I should really put water at the bottom of this.
05:11But now, I'm just gonna AFK this for a couple of hours.
05:14Two hours later.
05:16Alright, I'm back, and I should definitely have enough sand by now.
05:20Please have enough.
05:22Oh my gosh.
05:24Uh, yeah.
05:25They're just all full.
05:26But since I need 10,000 TNT, and each one takes 4 sand, that means I need 40,000 sand,
05:32which is equivalent to about 23 shulkers.
05:34So, I started filling them up, which actually took like 30 minutes, so I'm just gonna speed that up here.
05:39Ah, and that is all the sand in my shulkers.
05:42So now I have half of the materials I need to craft the TNT, and next, I need about 30
05:47shulkers of gunpowder, and I know just the spot to get some.
05:50However, there's a slight problem.
05:52The person who built it AFKs at it like all the time, and we aren't exactly friends.
05:57Help! What are you guys doing? Help me! Help!
06:00So if I try to steal some gunpowder, he might hear it and try to kill me.
06:04But this is a YouTube video after all, so I'm guessing you want to see some action.
06:09Alright, so here we are at the Yum-sun's gunpowder farm.

06:21When I open these chests, it's fine.
06:25What? There's so much gunpowder in here.
06:27And so, as quickly as I could, I grabbed as much gunpowder as possible and put them in all my
06:32shulkers.
06:32But just when I was getting the last bits I needed, the worst possible thing happened.

07:51So I returned to the build and started the crafting process.
07:54And that is the very first stack done.
07:56So now I just have to do that like a thousand more times.

08:08And after over an hour of crafting TNT, and a lot of mouse clicking, that is all the
08:13TNT I need in order to start filling in the giant TNT.
08:17So let's go and actually enter it.

08:21That looks sick.

08:23There's a lot of mobs, apparently.

08:25This is a mob farm.

08:31So let me go grab a couple stacks of torches.

08:44And now that all the torches are placed down, we can start filling this with TNT.
08:48Which is definitely going to take the most amount of time out of anything on this project.
08:52So, um, yeah.

09:01Right now, it may look like I've made good progress, but just as I was finishing up the
09:05first layer, mobs already started spawning.
09:07Oh, what am I going to do?
09:09I can't really place torches for every layer.
09:11And while these mobs aren't a problem, they're just kind of annoying.
09:14I would have a problem if a creeper spawned and exploded everything.
09:17But luckily, there's a simple solution to this.
09:20Cats.
09:21Because in case you didn't know, creepers run from cats.
09:24So now I just have to figure out how to tame a cat.
09:26Bro, why are they running away?
09:29Do I have to like drop it on them or something?
09:31Like, all right, none of them want my fish.

09:34So I'm just going to resort to aggressiveness.

09:52And now, I should be safe from creepers.
09:55And I can start placing TNT again.
09:58So now that I've built up this high, I'm going to start on the sides.
10:01Because there's going to be space for the detonation machine in the center.
10:03And you're lucky this is all time-lapsed.
10:05Otherwise, it'd be a very boring video.

10:10And now we're on the last side.
10:12And now, the last couple blocks of the last side.
10:15Right now.
10:17Oh my gosh.
10:18If you thought the giant TNT looked crazy, this looks even crazier.
10:22And now that step two is officially complete, we can start building the detonation machine.
10:28You know, I don't know why I made it sound so epic.
10:30And in order to build it, I need to grab a couple of materials.
10:34Because I need to make a prototype to make sure it works and not have any accidental explosions.
10:39Well, it works.
10:41I should probably build it farther away, though.
10:43The plan is to have a series of contraptions, including a water system, a TNT cannon, and
10:47finally, some flying arrows that will eventually light up the TNT and explode it.
10:52Possibly crashing the server, and most likely exploding my PC.
10:55So let's get to building it.
10:57Starting with the water system, where I'll have several canals that will float along items
11:00until they activate the next section.
11:02And here's a test of the first portion.
11:05And...
11:05Okay, it works.
11:06Nice.
11:07Now I'm just going to build that a couple more times, and I'll add some lights to make
11:10it look even cooler.
11:11I also have this loop going to constantly test if the machine works as I keep building.
11:15And after finishing up the other canals, it's time to test it out.
11:18All right, so let's activate it, and then let's watch the carrot go.
11:22Huh?
11:22Okay.
11:23Hold on.
11:23I need to empty it first.
11:24But after trying it a second time...
11:26Ooh, okay.
11:27Wait.
11:28Wait, it's actually working.

11:34So now we can move on to the TNT cannon, which is pretty straightforward until you realize
11:39they're incredibly inaccurate.
11:40Bro, I didn't change anything.
11:42Why did it go so high?
11:43But through lots of testing and a couple of mistakes, oh my...
11:47I eventually came up with an accurate design.
11:50Come on.
11:51Yep, that's the one.
11:53So I started building the rest of the device.
11:55Okay, now we just have to wait till it lights up.
11:57And...
11:58Please don't break.
11:59Come on.
12:02Oh, okay, that's perfect.
12:03So now with the TNT cannon done, I can move on to the last part, which basically involves
12:07a bunch of arrows being shot one after the other, which was the easiest device to build.
12:11And to match this video's theme for explosions, I decided to end it off with an end crystal.
12:15Okay, the arrows are going.
12:17And please...
12:18Yes.
12:19And with that, the detonation machine is finished.
12:22And if you're wondering how I'm going to get it in the giant TNT, I have this cool mod
12:25called Lightmatica that basically lets you copy builds really easily by providing
12:29a blueprint.
12:29So all I have to do is get the materials and build it one more time.
12:35So we're back at the TNT, and there are a bunch of mobs here.
12:39And I'm going to grab my cats just to make sure no creepers can blow me up.
12:44Along with my PC.
12:45And I'm actually just going to re-log to despawn all these mobs.
12:49Much better.
12:49So now all I have to do is load this.
12:51So now it should be in.
12:53Whoa.
12:54And now I just have to build this.
12:57Two hours later.
12:59And we're back.
13:00And everything looks good.
13:01So now we're officially done with step three of the project.
13:04And all I have to do now is dig a trench far enough away so I don't die.
13:08So let's just go this way a few chunks.
13:13And as I was finishing up the final part of the project, I thought back to all the countless
13:18hours of gameplay leading up to this moment.
13:20Because in a few minutes, I'll be able to say, I finally built and exploded the largest
13:24TNT block in Minecraft.
13:26Yeah, that should be far enough.
13:29Actually, okay, now we're good.
13:31So now, without any further ado, the moment you've all been waiting for.
13:36All I have to do is press this button and everything is getting destroyed.
