00:00:00Over the past three years, I've played on a Civilization server with the goal of ruling every nation.
00:00:05And across several seasons, I've done some insane things to accomplish this.
00:00:08From creating world peace, to starting world war, to even betraying my own team.
00:00:12And it all started when I got a message from someone I looked up to.
00:00:16You want to join my empire in the Nations event?
00:00:18I want to see if I can recruit together an empire that can go to war with everyone.
00:00:22You see, the reason I even got into Civilization events in the first place was because of Clown's videos,
00:00:27where he would dominate every server he joined.
00:00:29So when he asked to team with me, I didn't hesitate to say yes.
00:00:32And this would be the start of a long history between the seasons, but we'll get to that later.
00:00:36Our goal for Season 1 was to create a secret war empire to rule all the nations.
00:00:40But in order to understand how this server even works, let me explain.
00:00:44140 players were randomly put into four nations.
00:00:46Plains, jungle, desert, and snow.
00:00:49The first few days were dedicated to grand materials,
00:00:52but it didn't take too long before the nation borders dropped and near anarchy broke loose.
00:00:56Anything could happen, and it was up to us, the players, to shape the story.
00:01:00I was put into the snow nation, with 34 other players.
00:01:03This was perhaps the harshest environment, containing less trees than plains and jungle, and very scarce food.
00:01:08My group made home on the southern coast of the island.
00:01:10The first few days were spent doing your typical Minecraft activities,
00:01:12mining for diamonds and, well, mining for diamonds.
00:01:15I should mention the nations.
00:01:17Each island gets to elect a leader to govern how the nation is run.
00:01:20The nation leader is given a crown that also gives the wear of 20 hearts.
00:01:23So that's why, when elections came around, I knew that I had to try to elect a leader,
00:01:26because having 20 hearts would be extremely valuable for the future war plans Clown Pierce was devising.
00:01:31Today, I stand before you with a promise.
00:01:34A promise to keep this nation in good shape and prepare for it, whatever may come our way.
00:01:37If you go for me, I will make sure that this nation is going all the way up to the
00:01:41top,
00:01:41and that we get so much resources, and then we go and be the best one.
00:01:44Literally the best one, and then we get so much crops, and make sure that it's all good.
00:01:47Oh, you're so loud!
00:01:48So much food will be grown, and then all the people will not stop,
00:01:51and I will make sure that we win this war!
00:01:54Oh, you're so big.
00:01:55After this, we only have me and Rasslin left.

00:02:24But having Woogie as a leader was not the worst case.
00:02:26Woogie had good game knowledge, and immediately created a council,
00:02:29consisting of some of our nation's more experienced players.
00:02:32I was put in charge of our military, which was not a bad position,
00:02:35as this would help me stay alive while I grinded up gear for the war empire.
00:02:38I kept my plans a secret from everyone in my nation for a couple of days,
00:02:41since I knew it was confidential toward my survival.
00:02:44And so for the next few days, the Snow Nation Council grinded god armor and tools using villagers.
00:02:49We got the spawn eggs from loot barrels around the island,
00:02:51and this allowed us to become the richest players in the entire event.
00:02:55As for the other nations,
00:02:56Flains was experiencing civil war, and so did Jungle not too soon after.
00:03:00Oh, wait, wait, wait, they're-
00:03:01Oh!
00:03:02What?
00:03:02They're being killed!
00:03:03No, that's their own members, though.
00:03:05Three of their own-

00:03:07What just happened?
00:03:07Snow is definitely the best off right now.
00:03:10It seemed like Snow Nation's only competitor was Desert,
00:03:12which was now led by their leader, Clown Pierce.
00:03:14It wasn't too soon before Clown decided to advance in his plan,
00:03:17and traveled to Plains Nation to offer a deal.
00:03:20Work for the Desert Nation as slaves,
00:03:22or die.
00:03:23Their leader decided to work with Clown,
00:03:25and by the fifth day,
00:03:26Clown Pierce was interested in the villager operation I was running.
00:03:29He decided to pay me a visit,
00:03:30coming all the way from Desert Nation to me.
00:03:33Yo, what's up?

00:03:36So, I don't think my team's here right now except one guy.

00:04:15and shortly after,
00:04:16followed him back to his desert hideout.
00:04:18However, as I was crossing the island,
00:04:20Wookie called the council for a meeting.
00:04:23I didn't need frames anyways.
00:04:25But he doesn't even win a crown.

00:06:12my plans had already gotten to the point of no return,
00:06:15and I was about to leave the island.
00:06:16However, not wanting to go alone,
00:06:18I asked only a squid to join me in the secret plan.
00:06:20I got Clown the last book.
00:06:22I am heading to desert for right now.
00:06:23The villager base is really close to here.
00:06:25We ransacked our villager setup,
00:06:26and most importantly,
00:06:27took potion brewing materials.
00:06:29This was crucial,
00:06:30as it was the only thing Clown's empire was missing for world domination.
00:06:34And so,
00:06:34Squid and I left Snow Nation,
00:06:36and set off in our adventure.
00:06:37We made our way to the desert nation,
00:06:39and stopped by Clown's western empire hideout.

00:07:26and rebranding the desert.

00:13:17Not decided to submit to the western empire and therefore the western empire is going to war with the jungle

00:18:11I was saved, and now that nation borders are dropping, I would be able to meet with my
00:18:14secret team, and so I traveled the seas.
00:18:17Freely traveling around other nations would still be dangerous, and so I went where nobody
00:18:20else was.
00:18:21As I made my travels, an overwhelming sense of dread overcame me, all the time I spent alone,
00:18:26with no one to turn to.
00:18:27Did I make a mistake in betraying my own team?
00:18:29Was war truly the right answer?
00:18:31Like a thorn in my heel, these thoughts haunted me as I made my way across the world.
00:18:35Eventually, though, I made it to Desert Island, where my team was waiting for me.

00:18:41I finally had people I could rely on.
00:18:43No more running and constantly freedom for my life.
00:18:45JJK, the host of the event, officially exiled us, and Team Exile now made its mark on the server.
00:18:50You're officially wanted on every single island.
00:18:53I don't know, on Exile, but on every single island you're wanted.
00:18:56Our team wasn't looking too bad.
00:18:58We had decent gear and a good number of people.
00:19:00However, on the other side of the world, an international peace union was being shaped,
00:19:03and it was being led by Waste's leader, Bricks.
00:19:06He called it the Great Nation.
00:19:08He was really going through with his plans for world peace, and this was my group's main competitor
00:19:11in taking over all the nations.
00:19:13Dolly decided to relocate our team to jungle, since our location was now public.
00:19:16And so, we made our way to jungle.
00:19:18You're like, I'm running to the jungle base right now, bruh.
00:19:21When I got there, I found a chest with an endcrystal in it, and decided to keep this a secret
00:19:25from my team.
00:19:26At this point, my team was now known as International Criminals.
00:19:28We had to start an attack soon, because the enemy groups would become too powerful before too long.
00:19:32Dolly decided Snow Nation would be our first target, since they seemed the weakest.
00:19:35An insider gave us the location of the Snow Nation capital, and we marched up the mountain to initiate the
00:19:40first attack of nations.
00:19:42Oh, right there, up there.
00:19:43Do you see someone?
00:19:44Up on the hill, I see the base.
00:19:46Oh shit, there's like a lot.
00:19:48They're already looking at us, just go, just go.

00:20:22Just as we finished, a feared fighter messaged me that she was interested in joining our team.
00:20:26Mithridak showed up and gave our team info on the Plains capital, since she had just been exiled from her
00:20:31own island.
00:20:32An outcast from society.
00:20:33Finally someone I could relate to, but at this point I thought I was the only one in my position.
00:20:37JJ gave us permission to kill Plains, so we have a good go.
00:20:40Okay, well, do you guys want to go?
00:20:41We're gonna kill Plains.
00:20:43With the location of Plains, we made our way across the ocean, yet again.

00:20:56And when we got out to Plains, we decided to take a different approach than we did at Snow.
00:20:59Uh, Raspland is in a tree somewhere.

00:21:12Since the server was now preparing for us, we had to take a more stealthy route.
00:21:15I was sent in using an invis potion to investigate and pick out the perfect time and position to attack.
00:21:20There was one problem, however.
00:21:22You see, one of the perks of being in exile is that I glow every few seconds, even when I'm
00:21:26invisible,
00:21:26so I could easily be spotted if I didn't time it right.
00:21:29However, knowing this risk, I took off my armor and went in.
00:21:32Raspland, Dolly said not to kill anyone, but if you really want to do this, then I step in.
00:21:36It's my last day.
00:21:37Wait, I see him! I can see him! No!
00:21:40Wait, wait, wait, wait, Rasspland, wait.

00:44:56Since he's also very skilled at PvP, but also less recognized than Fair, so he was less likely to be
00:45:01targeted in the event.

00:45:53And I started by digging our trench with a player named Pierce.
00:45:56But when I watched him mine, he was doing this weird moss strategy.
00:45:59Because apparently if you bone meal a moss block, it'll infect nearby stone, which you can break with the hoe,
00:46:04increasing the speed of our trench digging.
00:46:06So for the rest of the day, that's exactly what I did.
