00:04No surprise here that they score two runs in three days because this is who the Yankees are.
00:09And then naturally, again, everyone wants to fire the manager.
00:12I mean, not understanding that you don't have Judge, you don't have Stanton.
00:16Stanton, by the way, I think could come back sooner than Judge.
00:18It feels like he's a couple of weeks away.
00:20But it's the same reality for the Yankees every year, Tom.
00:23They had that one season, I think it was two years ago, where they got hot.
00:27The bats got hot at the right time, and they went all the way to the World Series and then
00:30lost to the Dodgers.
00:31This feels more or less like all the Yankees teams we've seen recently.
00:34They win 90-something games, they make the playoffs, they win the first round,
00:37and then they run into a team that hits more than them.
00:39And then we reset and repeat until they change the roster construction and get more guys that can get on
00:45base.
00:46And look, Ben Rice did a nice job for them this year.
00:49I get it.
00:49But they simply have a lot of the same guys.
00:52Nothing ever changed.
00:52And their pitching, by the way, is really good, too.
00:54But I just don't think they have enough slug, even with Judge and Stanton, to get to the World Series

01:01But I do see them making it, winning a round, and everyone screaming after they get knocked out again.

01:07And it just comes down to the timeline.
01:09If they're able to get that in order for October 1st, the order that I've seen is Stanton, Belger, Judge,
01:17in that order is what they will be returning.
01:19Can they get them all back in the lineup?
01:21Can they all be healthy enough?
01:22They're all going to be getting, you know, firing on all cylinders at the same time.
01:25Because just because they're back in the lineup doesn't mean they're actually in a groove.
01:29Are they going to go on rehab assignments?
01:31How long is this process going to take?
01:32So, yeah, as everyone says, like, they'll make the playoffs.
01:35But how they are peaking at October 1st will determine what kind of form they're in and will determine how
01:40far they go.
