00:00All right, Max Freed, back from the injured list, looked really good, good news for the Yankees,
00:05but really it's not about their pitching. Their pitching is really good. They have Garrett Cole,
00:08they have Freed, they have Schlittler, Rodon, when he's healthy, they have plenty of this. I mean,
00:12maybe it's a crazy thought that the Yankees should trade some pitching and get another hitter. I just,
00:17I hate to say it, Tom, because I know there are a lot of Yankees fans that are watching, but
00:21you know, they got really, really hot two years ago at the end of the season,
00:25and Stanton was amazing in the postseason. That's the only reason that they got to the World Series.
00:30But this blueprint that they have for this year, just heavily reliant on counting on that three-run
00:36home run, and the two guys that are in the lineup are not there. So I don't know how they
00:41do it. Yes,
00:42they're going to pitch great. Yes, they're going to make the postseason. Yes, they're probably going
00:45to get through the first round. But as good as Max Freed is, and as good as all these other
00:49pitchers
00:50are, eventually you're going to have to score runs to win. Yeah. Despite having one of the higher
00:55scoring offenses in the league, it certainly doesn't feel like it. It doesn't feel like a consistent
00:59threatening offense that are going to give you four to five every game. It's like they can get
01:02four to five, but that comes on maybe only three or four hits, which obviously isn't a recipe for
01:08success because once those fly balls start not going as further in cooler weather, once we get to the
01:13postseason, that's going to be an issue. It's great to only give up two runs a game, which I think
01:18any
01:18team would take, but you do need some level of consistency. Freed is great to see him back.
01:23Obviously having a combo, not just a one-two combo at the top of the lineup or the top of
01:27rotation,
01:27say, but a three-man rotation for any postseason series is fantastic, but that's never been their
01:33issue. It's always been the hitting.
