00:50not blackmail blackmail is like an illegal thing i understand i'm overstating it yeah the connotation
00:56of blackmail is like mob related stuff or criminal nothing that he's doing is criminal he's you know

01:20somebody who's a star player who wants to transfer who wants number nine i bet lane kiffin gives it out

01:31not and i'm sure the fans might understand because the fans are in the moment they want to win games
01:36right so if you have a star player and they want a number you're going to lose them nowadays with
01:41these players making millions of dollars in college the top players i mean some are reported

01:49about who's wearing what number that's the last thing they should worry about no i mean that's a joke
01:53i'm just thankful and i tweeted this that i'm pretty confident that jayden doesn't listen to
01:58sports radio i don't think he just sits there and watch sports center all day i don't think he
02:01obsessively reads about himself uh i think he he feels disrespected people are trying to resolve it
02:07he's going to be distracted for the five or six minutes that he's forced to do media because i don't
02:12think this guy likes doing media and then when he leaves that podium i don't think he's going to give
02:17it a second thought does he play tonight though that's another question we thought we were just going

04:28where i think he steps over a line i don't think that's over that's that's how pissed off he went
04:33how else do you he felt disrespected how else do you do you let them know please he's being
04:39treated he's being treated differently than the other guy that they won't wear the number i don't
04:43think he had to do that that's my opinion so so then he has no recourse at least now it

05:52them and by the way his body of uh work as a human being is pretty freaking outstanding from what

09:37there's a line and jayden and his family crossed the line what what line the line is this letter

09:46leverage really okay it's leverage i think jayden might be a great guy he's being a baby in this
09:51situation and he's being it's unprofessional and it's beneath him i think that that's that's the
09:56majority of people's opinion i happen to disagree with that i think he's well within his rights
10:01to exercise his leverage and because it's important to him nobody's saying he's not within his rights
10:06and i'm not saying that he's and i'm saying because of that i don't think he's being a baby
10:11you guys are interpreting it as being a baby because it's not important to you part of his
10:16to him it's important to him so i understand why he's wanting to protect himself part of his statement

10:58biased i'm on your side on this but you're biased because if this was like him if this was baker

11:20allowed to be worn why is jayden daniels because the guy's the number two corner in the country

12:09still feel that i would be totally against jayden i'd be totally against jayden exactly he might
12:14still feel disrespected but else you could say f off we give away numbers to anybody well they are

12:56that yeah most guys turn that down i mean they were almost going to kill that like peyton manning
13:01talked about it they're almost going to kill yeah but he doesn't thrive on it i think he was being
13:05respectful to peyton manning they were manning wasn't behind that i don't know that he would
13:08have the point is they were going to almost kill the show because most guys turned it down
13:12well in fact they had to who did they run back quarterback with kirk it did like a second year
13:17with kirk cousins joe flacco's also an understated guy who agreed to do it i think they did that out
13:24of deference and respect for peyton i understand that but my point is the majority of quarterbacks
13:29allegedly turned down being featured on quarterback so they turned down the attention
13:35yes and in this case jayden daniels you can say it's in deference to peyton but he chose to
13:41have the attention on him a year later sure yeah he got attention out of it i don't think he
13:47sought
13:48it they asked them to be on it and it was peyton manning and he said okay i don't know
13:53if he said
13:53okay instantly i don't know if they had to convince him but he ultimately he agreed to participate in
13:58it yeah don't you think a big part of this is that the daniels family did not expect any blowback

14:09would even know about it to be honest with you statement i keep coming back to the statement i

14:38statement the number you were you're right the number is the issue but we're not talking about
14:42this if this if the daniels family doesn't put out that statement well what else can they do he
14:47wanted to do something to try to stop them from issuing the number if that's how upset he was

15:38he would give out uh the number nine jersey it's just to ask one more question to understand numbers
15:45um if someone were to ask for number nine would that be on the table for you how would you
15:50handle
15:50that situation when a player asked for that yeah i'm i'm not going to get into that there's there's a
15:55lot to numbers and and whether they're retired whether they're not and different versions and so
16:03um i don't have an answer he got nothing but he got an answer for number five i said this
