00:38description to
00:39request to join our subreddit you must request to join because you must be 21 years or older to join
00:45THC in order to begin our meeting we must first cast a circle there are many ways to do so
00:52but what I
00:53like to do for our videos is imagine a sphere around me take a hit and then imagine that sphere
00:59filling
00:59up with my smoke cleansing and protecting me and then we will invite the entities that we want to join
01:05so I encourage you to do this with me and invite whatever entities you want
01:28the spirit of cannabis I invoke you
01:31the spirit of cannabis I invoke you Hekate goddess of witchcraft I invoke you Apollo god of oracles I invoke
01:37you
01:38Hermes god of communication and messages I invoke you heiress goddess of chaos and discord I invoke you
02:01for this week's meeting we will be discussing divination
02:05divination divination is the art of reading messages through various means it can be used
02:12for fortune telling communicating with entities receiving messages from the universe or other
02:18forces and more because divination is interpreting messages it is important to remember that there is no
02:27one right way of deciphering symbols and messages have different meanings to different people
02:34and in different contexts your interpretation might not match another's but both are equally valid
02:43there are a wide variety of methods of divination so I will list some of the more common types along
02:52with a brief description of each if you know of any that I missed please put them in the comments
02:58or discuss
02:59them in our subreddit now let's get started number one is cartomancy cartomancy is reading cards and it is
03:09likely one of the most common forms of divination any type of card can be used for cartomancy such as
03:19tarot decks
03:20Oracle decks and even normal playing cards I made an intro to tarot meeting video a little while back and
03:28if you're in
03:29interested in tarot I recommend checking that out personally I do two card draws during my waking up routine
03:40one from my Edgar Allen Poe tarot deck and one from my cannabis oracle deck I prefer to do one
03:47card draws but most people like to do spreads a spread is a specific arrangement of cards with each card
03:56representing a different part of the whole
03:59of the whole message there are an infinite amount of spread of the whole message there are an infinite amount
04:04of spreads because many witches create new ones quite often
04:08number two is pyromancy pyromancy is one of my favorites because I'm a bit of a pyromaniac it is reading
04:16fires searching for messages through the flames
04:20sometimes the flames sometimes the flames will tell a story sometimes they give advice sometimes entities speak through them
04:29I will probably make a video about pyromancy in the future because it's one of my favorite forms of divination
04:37but I did make a meeting video about reading smoke a little while ago and I consider reading smoke to
04:46be part of pyromancy
04:48some people consider it to be a separate form of divination but I consider it part of pyromancy so if
04:56you're interested check out that video on reading smoke
05:00number three it's tassiomancy tassiomancy is the art of reading tea leaves
05:07I've been obsessed with tea for a very long time and my first job was actually in a tea store
05:14I had that job for about three years
05:16so of course tassiomancy was one of the first things that I wanted to research when I began knowingly practicing
05:25witchcraft
05:25witchcraft I did make an intro to tea meeting video a while ago so I recommend checking that out if
05:33you're interested in tassiomancy
05:35I also recommended a few books that were really good in the book recommendation videos that I made
05:44so definitely check those out as well and you can look in the subreddit for other book recommendations
05:52with the post flare library of Alexandria
05:58anyway tassiomancy includes studying the various types
06:03studying other herbs for making blends
06:06learning how to properly brew the various types
06:10and learning how to recognize the patterns and shapes that compose the messages
06:16number four is bibliomancy
06:20to put it simply bibliomancy involves the reading of books using various different methods for magical meaning
06:28this is not just looking deeper into the meaning of the words you read
06:33this is also reading things in different orders to find hidden or unintended messages
06:41it can be as simple as reading pages in an order that's based on page number
06:47for example you could read page 13 and then page 7 and then page 3
06:54it can also be reading various sections or chapters in different orders
07:01I've only dabbled in bibliomancy but I do find it interesting
07:05so I may make a separate video on this in the future
07:08number five is numeromancy
07:11numeromancy is the magic of numbers
07:14this isn't your typical school math class
07:18this is a creative and deeper way of looking at numbers
07:22the things that they symbolize their relations and equations
07:27they aren't just numbers on a page
07:30they are power knowledge and messages
07:34if you like math you may like numeromancy
07:38however if you disliked math classes
07:41you may still enjoy numeromancy
07:44because it has the creativity and deeper meanings that normal math classes lack
07:51number six is sacred geometry
07:54the circle is one of the most common and sacred symbols in witchcraft
08:00we cast a circle when we begin our work
08:02to cleanse the space and to separate it from the mundane
08:08we use circles for purification
08:10we stir our potions with circular motions
08:14triangles of various forms hold a lot of power in many systems of magic as well
08:21such as the pyramids
08:23of course the pentagram is another very powerful and commonly used shape in witchcraft
08:30I'm including this as a form of divination
08:33because part of sacred geometry
08:36focuses on using shapes to decipher or transcribe messages
08:41which is divination
08:44number seven is astrology
08:46astrology is another one of the most common forms of divination
08:50it focuses on reading space for messages
08:54this includes stars, planets, and constellations
08:58many people who do not consider themselves witches
09:02practice and believe in astrology
09:04astrology looks at the positions of things
09:08and the relations to each other
09:11to find messages and meanings
09:13most witches do at least a little bit of astrology
09:16whether that is lunar work
09:19working with the zodiacs
09:21or something else
09:22if you like astrology
09:24I recommend checking out our rituals videos
09:27because I make them for new moons
09:30full moons and holidays
09:32lately I've been trying to incorporate a little bit more astrology
09:37into our lunar rituals videos
09:40so definitely check those out
09:43if you're interested in astrology
09:46number eight is palmistry
09:48as it sounds palmistry focuses on reading the various lines of the palms of your hands
09:55I know I wiggled my fingers
09:57but you can't really wiggle your palms
10:00I'm not very familiar with it myself
10:03but it is a common form of divination
10:05there are a lot of messages to unfold within each palm
10:11number nine is scrying
10:14scrying uses reflective surfaces such as mirrors, crystal orbs, or water to find messages
10:21the reflective surface is examined from various angles for visions, images, and symbols
10:29that's an oversimplification
10:32but I've only dabbled in it a little bit
10:35and when I do more research and practice with it
10:41I will probably do a full meeting video on the subject
10:46because scrying is fascinating and really fun
10:52number ten is pendulum divination
10:55if you are unaware
10:57a pendulum is essentially a small weight
11:00such as this
11:01at the bottom of a chain or string
11:04this one does not have a chain at the moment
11:07because it broke off a while ago
11:10and I just haven't replaced it yet
11:12the weight is often made of stone
11:15and you can find them in almost any stone that you want
11:18this is moonstone
11:20the chain also usually has something on the other end
11:26such as a charm, a coin, or a very very small stone
11:33just so you have something to hold
11:36so what you do is you hold the chain by the small charm
11:41with the weight hanging directly below
11:45you can have it hovering over a map, board, or nothing
11:50you hold the pendulum still
11:52and the movements it makes will provide the message
11:56so if you're looking for a location
12:00you can hold it over a map
12:02and it will swing to the right location
12:06if you're holding it over a board
12:09that board can have letters or symbols
12:12and you read which ones the pendulum swings to
12:19you can also just hold it up in the air
12:23and the direction that it swings
12:24will give you a yes or no answer
12:27to whatever questions you have
12:29number eleven is reading ancient symbols
12:33one of the most common systems of ancient symbols
12:36used for divination is the runic alphabet
12:40which comes from Germanic and Norse cultures
12:44each rune has its own power meanings and messages
12:49there are many ways to use runes
12:52and other ancient symbol systems for divination
12:56and the most common way of using them
12:59the runes are written on something like a bead
13:02a card or a bit of bone
13:05and they are shuffled
13:07and then scattered or drawn from a bag
13:12the messages are read from the resulting arrangement
13:17and selection of runes
13:20number twelve is spirit boards
13:23I'm sure we've all heard of a Ouija board by now
13:27it's a very common tool for divination
13:30typically used to communicate with spirits
13:33and other entities
13:35however I recommend activating your chosen methods of protection
13:40such as casting a circle
13:42before opening yourself up to communicate with any spirits
13:46entities or deities
13:48even if you know them well
13:51spirit boards are an easy way to communicate
13:54because the entity will select letters to spell out their messages
13:59number thirteen is trances
14:02in some trances
14:04another being is essentially invited to possess the witch's body
14:10in order to give them messages or visions
14:14an example of this would be automatic writing
14:17which is where you just write without thinking
14:22until your body is taken over by another being or force
14:27that writes their message
14:30in some trances the witch is given immersive visions
14:35in some trances the witch is taken on an astral journey
14:40with whatever entity or force that they are reaching out to
14:44trances are enlightening informative fun
14:49and sometimes deeply emotional
14:52divination can be used for a wide variety of purposes
14:56but at its core
14:58it's the art of recognizing and interpreting messages
15:04if you know of any divination methods that i missed
15:08please leave them in the comments or discuss them in our subreddit
15:12let me know your thoughts and insights in the comments and in our subreddit
15:17and that's all that i have for today's meeting

16:45i named her pam after poison ivy because i got her in green
16:50and i got a purple cap to kind of mix it up a little bit
16:54um but yes she is a concentrate vape and heats up really quickly
17:01hits so nicely and has variable temperature settings
17:06it has a brilliant design like this thing
17:10so it uses a glass coil and two glass orbs that are really small
17:19so what it does is it heats up the glass coil
17:26and the orbs and the orbs move around to stir your concentrate and heat it up as it stirs
17:36so the concentrate is not put directly on the heating element and it it just it's so nice
