00:30Supercross Main Event.
00:32Jumping straight into the deep end, mad respect, mas é a mesma história como Moto1,
00:38Suh out front, Higgs in second, este primeiro RUN THROUGH THE WHOOPS vai contar a história.
01:21Jack Chambers, 2, nice start to this race, sitting in 5th right now,
01:25você vê Fouser, 6, McAdoo, 7, Simonson, 8.
01:28So, 2 of the favorites in this championship having to dig through the field,
01:31you see Wageman coming up the inside there as well,
01:34oh, I'm sorry, that's Ryan Brees on the number 200 machine up the inside on Simonson.
01:40No, but it's the two Starks running 1-2, there's Anstey again, 3-1 to the inside,
01:44not close enough, but he is closing in.
01:46And I wonder what adjustments Sue has made in this second race.
01:51The start's obviously not a problem, but he did fall off the pace,
01:54so very interesting to see what he changed, if anything,
01:57and if he is going to be able to put up more of a fight.
02:00He has not dropped his teammate Hicks in these opening laps.
02:03And if you're Michael Hicks right now, if you can get to the lead and have some open track,
02:07you might be able to get away.
02:08He hung in there in that first race.
02:10Will he be aggressive with his teammate, with a possible win sitting in front of him?
02:15He goes out to end with a little cut-in, but Sue hangs in tough.
02:19This is awesome racing by these boys out front.
02:23Brodie Connolly just dropped a tiny bit off Max.
02:26He was right there at the end of that first rhythm section.
02:30Looks like the boys have this jump line dialed now.
02:33Max charging his way through the whoops.
02:36This 3-1, you said it all right.
02:37Oh, it's so fast.
02:38Man, you can get to the ball.
02:40How aggressive will he be early in this race?
02:43Let's go down to Chris and Beat for more.
02:56Team manager, and I asked him the question you were asking, Jace,
02:59which was what changes did they maybe make after Ryan Sue and Jace 1 dropped off the pace,
03:04so he made no changes at all.
03:05It was his fitness.
03:06He wasn't feeling as confident on the track.
03:08They've now re-strategized and talked about line selection to improve Brian Sue's efficiency late in the race, guys.
03:14And for Max Anstey, now it is tightening up between Brian Sue, Michael Hicks, Max Anstey.
03:21Look at Brodie Connolly.
03:22What a ride in fourth as McAdoo and Simonson now running 570.
03:27Got Chambers in there as well.
03:28Here goes Anstey up the inside.
03:303-1, Hicks does it too, but out to the outside.
03:33He squares up, and Anstey, you see him check up right there.
03:36That's so crafty, man.
03:38And I love what he's doing with that 3-1.
03:40You're getting so much momentum to hit that triple as you come into that turn,
03:43but then you can soak up that single coming in to that next turn, go up to the inside,
03:49and you can just control the corner.
03:51Max Anstey up in the second place.
03:54The laps are counting down.
03:56Will he make a run at the leader?
03:57You know he'll try.
03:58Brian Sue looks a little bit better in this race than he did in race one.
04:02I love those twos right there.
04:04He's getting out of those flat corners.
04:05We'll see if he gets this one as well.
04:07Anstey going to the inside, going roll.
04:10Sue doing a completely different rhythm.
04:12And I love this track.
04:13It's got some options that way.
04:15I think it's going to play a role later in the night too as it dries up just a little
04:18bit.
04:18And here comes Anstey ripping the whoops.
04:20Wheels in.
04:24A little bit of a kick for Max Anstey, but you got Michael Hicks sitting in third, Kristen.
04:30Max, this is such an interesting dynamic, right, because you want to focus on moving forward.
04:35You want to focus on Brian Sue.
04:37But when you have a rider like Michael Hicks behind you, you have to decide,
04:40am I racing forward, am I racing defensively?
04:42Daniel, what is the right choice in this instance?
04:44I think that's a tough call.
04:46I mean, you're in a moment where you have a race opportunity, a win.
04:50You're tempted to always take the aggressive move,
04:52but at the same time, you've got to look big picture.
04:55So, I don't know, personally as a racer, I usually make the wrong call in these situations.
04:59I'm not the best to ask.
05:00Hey, I'm even worse to ask of you.
05:02But I do think Max Anstey is in the best headspace of his career.
05:07He is so in control of this world championship.
05:10He is so in control of his own destiny, it feels like, when it comes to this series.
05:14He is the big name in this title fight.
05:18Another epic run through that.
05:19It's probably only a matter of time until he answers that question for us, guys.
05:23Here comes Cameron McAdoo.
05:24He is closing in on Michael Hicks for the third position.
05:28You see Simonson has made his way to fifth.
05:31Brian Sue continuing to lead this race.
05:34Flawless little mistakes, but everyone's making them, Jason.
05:37They're not big.
05:38They're not costing him time.
05:39But he is losing time right now.
05:42Max Anstey closes that gap little by little as the lap counter clicks down.
05:48Yeah, that's what I was just about to say.
05:49He is making a little mistake here and there, and he is losing a bit of time,
05:53but these laps are winding down.
05:55Max Anstey knows that this long, challenging group section is the ace that he has in his sleeve.
06:02Two different rhythms.
06:04Two threes out.
06:05Anstey with a three double on the way out.
06:07Now, Anstey switches up.
06:08That's a different line for him as he blitzes by the right.
06:11Three one.
06:12What will Sue do here?
06:13Does he get aggressive?
06:14Anstey cuts over, takes the lead again.
06:18That was unbelievable from Max Anstey.
06:20I got to think that Brian Sue might have had something for him
06:23if he didn't make just a little bit of a mistake exiting that section.
06:27Max Anstey, final lap, in control.
06:31Does Sue have anything for him on this last lap?
06:32Oh, he's going to go for it.
06:34A win is sitting right there, but here comes Hicks again,
06:36and Hicks might be sitting with a 3-3 after these first two races,
06:40but for Max Anstey, the maturity, the veteran move to move over to a completely different line
06:46when his whoop line was taken away.
06:48He sticks to the blitz.
06:50Three one from out to in.
06:52What an awesome move for the defending champ to take the lead.
06:56And Sue isn't not safe there in second.
06:58Oh, here comes Hicks.
07:00Late in race one, he was making moves.
07:02Here we go.
07:02The two Stark Farms battling it out for second as Anstey blitz right in between two different runs.
07:07Hicks goes three one from the outside, gets into second.
07:11And Cameron McAdoo has not given up for a second through this race.
07:17Max Anstey wins.
07:18Max Anstey wins again.
07:21Solid win, too.
07:22Great race craft.
07:24Very patient.
07:26Waited until he knew he could get it.
07:28Didn't override the moment.
07:30Grabs the win.
07:31Simonson comes across in fifth.
07:33Great ride again by Michael Hicks in second.
07:36Only 1.8 down in the moto.
07:40Sitting right there.
07:41Creeping on a win.
07:43All the points are weighted to race three.
