00:53Here's the story from WPBF-TV in Florida.
00:58Deputies say the suspect was pretending
01:00to stack the shelves in aisle eight
01:02when surveillance captured him using his phone,
01:05pointing it up the victim's dress.
01:08Deputies say the suspect then inappropriately touched her.
01:11I think it's crazy.
01:12Am I surprised?
01:13No.
01:14Shoppers reacting after a Winn-Dixie employee was arrested,
01:18accused of secretly recording underneath a shopper's dress.
01:22These things do happen.
01:23Thank God they caught the perpetrator.
01:25This probable cause affidavit reveals the disturbing allegations.
01:30In it, deputies say just before 10 Monday night,
01:33an 18-year-old store employee, Johnny Evans,
01:36approached a female shopper,
01:37telling her that she had a spider on her back.
01:40Investigators say Evans asked for permission to remove the spider
01:44and then inappropriately touched the woman,
01:47groping her from behind.
01:48Authorities say the victim then reported the incident to a store manager.
01:52Deputies quickly arrived.
01:54The sheriff's office says they found Evans in a bathroom stall
01:57where he appeared to be deleting images from his phone.
02:01Deputies then detained him and went to review the security cameras.
02:06Authorities alleged that the camera, showing aisle eight,
02:09captured Evans pretending to stack shelves,
02:12then bending down and appearing to record up the alleged victim's dress.
02:17Investigators say he did it twice, without her noticing.
02:21Evans faces charges of battery, video voyeurism, and tampering with evidence.

02:29A short time ago, we received a statement from Winn-Dixie.
02:32It reads in part, quote,
02:34The safety and security of our customers, associates, and the communities we serve
02:39is always our top priority.
02:41We're taking this matter very seriously,
02:43and the associate was immediately terminated.
