00:00Well, in just under four weeks' time, thousands of prisoners are going to be let out early.
00:06And this is going to include some really serious violence and sexual offenders.
00:12Andy Burnham, as recently as Tuesday, was promising that there was no way that anyone involved in child sexual grooming
00:18would be eligible for the scheme.
00:20We now know that's simply not true.
00:23There are a lot of people who are guilty of historic sexual offences against children, that were convicted of indecent
00:32assault, who will be let out of prison early in September.
00:37And this is, you know, it's really an ideological thing, I think, with government.
00:43The government clearly doesn't believe in imprisoning people.
00:48And so they're not only not sending people to prison, at the other end, they're now letting people out, you
00:54know, 40% of the way through their sentences.
