00:58But I would say, Joe, at the beginning of the season, what I would say to you is this.
01:02If we were doing a show in March, right before opening day, and I said to you,
01:06will the Dodgers lose five in a row at any point this season, you would have said, yeah.
01:10You would have said, yeah, they're going to lose five in a row.
01:13And I would just tell you, okay, that's going to be the end of July and August.
01:17You'd say, okay, no problem. I'll take it.
01:19So that's kind of my take on this, is that every team is going to lose five in a row.
01:25Six in a row, sure.
01:29Not 10 in a row.
01:30Not 10 in a row.
01:31Not 15 in a row.
01:33But the truth is, Joe, when you think about it, the Cubs lost 10 in a row earlier this season,
01:38too.
01:39And look at how well they're playing, too.
01:41So they're going through a little bit of a slump.
01:43It was a one-run loss today.
01:44It's not like they're losing 15-2, like the A's or anything like that.
01:50So nothing to really be overly concerned about.
01:53And then the other part of this, too, is they're getting it out of the way, you could say.
01:56I'm not a Dodgers apologist at all.
01:58I could care less if they win or lose.
01:59I'm just giving you my honest opinion on them.
02:02They're still the best team in baseball.
02:05They will get the reinforcements that they've been looking for back in Snell and some others.
02:10But do they have some issues?

02:20There definitely are some little things that have popped up here end of July, early August,
02:25but it doesn't have me overly concerned because they've banked so many wins to this point.
02:33And even if they don't finish with the best overall record, as long as they're not sitting
02:38in a wild card spot, I think they're fine.
02:40And, Joe, they're not going to finish in a wild card spot.
02:43I mean, Arizona and San Diego, neither of those two teams are catching them.

02:50But, again, taking into consideration, they lost three at home to Boston, arguably the

03:01The Cubs are now 32 and 15 in their last 47 games here.
03:07So, it's not like they're not playing their best baseball right now.
03:11So, they kind of ran into two absolute juggernauts right now who are really playing well.
03:19Now, if you want to tell me, listen, the offense is in a bit of a rut.
03:23And, well, they are.
03:24They're 8-13, I think, Craig, now in their last 20, 21 games.
03:28But, they're only averaging four runs a game, which may seem like, well, not if you're giving
03:37up more than four runs a game.
03:39That bullpen, I'm still a little concerned with.
03:42Although, Diaz was able to show up, what, yesterday and promptly gave up a crushing bomb, I believe,
03:52in a lot of half of that game.
03:53But, that bullpen, it worry you a little bit?
03:57Or, they have so much starting pitching that they'll do what they did with Terrell.
04:02They'll just roll starting pitchers out in a seven-game series, right?
