00:16It's not national news when an offensive lineman has a dislocated finger.

00:22I mean, this is a big story because it's A.J. Brown,
00:25but it's not that big of a deal.
00:27He'll be fine.
00:29Patriots with A.J. Brown will be fine.
00:32They have a issue with Keyshawn Butte that they got to figure out
00:35whether the wide receiver is on the roster or not.
00:38They are carrying seven wide receivers.
00:40Do they carry seven or they carry six?
00:42We'll see what their final roster choice will look like
00:45for the Patriots going forward.
00:47But can they win more than nine and a half games?

01:37bet it yet, but I just want to make sure everyone's healthy for the Patriots.
01:39But I'm going to bet the Patriots to beat Seattle on the money line.

01:44I think people aren't putting enough stock in the idea that Clint Kubiak is in Vegas.
01:50The offensive guy, the guy who ran the offense with Sam Darnold and turned Jackson Smith and
01:58Jigba into the Offensive Player of the Year in the NFL, is no longer there.
02:04Mike McDonald was able to just run the defense, and the defense is damn good.

02:10But it's week one, and this Patriot team is completely different than the one that played
02:17in the Super Bowl.
02:18For starters, the offensive line is healthy and better.

02:21So the offensive line is not going to give up a bazillion sacks like they did.
02:25But you can't just play man defense behind that defensive line the way that the Seahawks
02:33did in the Super Bowl, because if you do that, A.J.
02:36Brown's beating you over the top, and you're in trouble.
02:38If you double-team A.J. Brown, now Romeo Dobbs is going to be able to go over the middle.
02:42If you double-team him or you take away him with a star cornerback, now you have the tight
02:47ends in Hunter Henry and company who could go do damage.
02:50If you stack the line, they throw.
02:52If you fall back, they're going to run it with both running backs with a much better
02:56offensive line.
02:57I think this Patriot team beat Seattle on the opener.

03:01And I know you can say that's a homer pick or whatever you want to call it, but I think

03:04Patriots are going to go to Seattle and spoil that.
03:06And then they get a mini bye.
03:08The one thing that I love about the Patriots schedule, the fact they're playing on Wednesday,
03:13is the fact that they're going to get the mini bye.
03:16They play the Steelers the following Sunday.
03:20So you get extra time.
03:22I know they're traveling all the way to Seattle.
03:23That makes it difficult.
03:24And it's a really hard place to play.
03:25I'm not saying Seattle won't be bonkers.
03:27It will be in the first half in particular.
03:28But as that game goes on, a little bit of a different situation.

03:35OK, the more that Aaron Rodgers talks about Anthony Fauci, the more that I really do not
03:41like the Steelers chances because he's focused on the wrong things.

03:52But Aaron Rodgers seems to be on a revenge tour that he wants to go and even up the score

04:08even his parents, like he's gone and tried to smooth things over with his family, although
04:14him and his brother seem to be not great still.

04:18I I'm beginning to be really down on Mike McCarthy and the Pittsburgh Steelers and Aaron Rodgers
04:25and starting to think like this could go really south.

04:30Without Mike Tomlin, that team might might not.
04:34I mean, they may miss the playoffs entirely.
04:36They may have a really bad year.
04:38So I like the past over and up to a two and oh, I think they lose to Jacksonville.
04:43That's a coin flip game, but I think they lose to Jacksonville.
04:46I think they they lose to Buffalo.
04:49There'll be two and two.
04:50Then I think they win the every every game until they get to Detroit.
