00:00Hello everyone, welcome again to Truth As It Is. I'm Trish and today I'm going to be talking about calling.
00:11Your calling. The Most High is calling you. So what are you going to do about it when he calls?
00:21Okay, because we all get a calling to come and worship the Most High God, but sometimes we don't take
00:32heed to what the Most High is saying or what he's trying to convey to us.
00:38So we need to take heed to these things. Things happen in our lives for a reason, okay? Things happen
00:47to us in our lives for a reason.
00:50And sometimes they happen so that we can come and worship the Most High God like we're supposed to, but
00:58sometimes we don't listen to that.
01:00So, is it your calling? Because I know it's my calling to teach this Bible as it is written and
01:11not to take words out and not to put words in, okay?
01:14All right, so anyway, let's get started on calling. Let's go to John 15 and 16.
01:27And it says,
01:30Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordain you, that ye should go and bring forth
01:41fruit.
01:42The fruit is children, and that your fruit should remain, and your children shall remain,
01:50that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you, okay?
01:59So, that's the calling. The Most High is telling you in this scripture that he chose you.
02:05You didn't choose him. He chose you.
02:08So, what are you going to do about that, okay?
02:13Ye have not. Let's read it again.
02:14Ye have not chosen me. God didn't choose. You didn't choose God, but I have chosen you.
02:22God chose you and ordained you.
02:26He ordained us to be able to read this Bible, learn it, and teach it to others as it is
02:34written.
02:35That ye should go and bring forth fruit.
02:38That we should go and multiply and have children.
02:41And that your fruit should remain, and that your children should remain in this Bible, just like you're in the
02:50Bible.
02:51That whatsoever ye shall ask of thy Father in my name, whatever ye are going to ask the Most High
02:58God, he may give it to you.
03:00He's going to give it to you, okay?
03:03Did you see how easy that that is?
03:08The Most High is saying, he's going to give it to you, okay?
03:12Let's move on to the next one.
03:141 Thessalonians 5 and 24.
03:20And it says,
03:22Faithful is he that calleth you.
03:27Faithful is he that calleth you.
03:29You know what, you know what, guys?
03:30I have my book here, but I'm going to read it from my Bible, because I'm actually reading it from
03:36my iPad, and I don't like it.
03:38So, let's go to 1 Thessalonians.
03:46It's Timothy.
03:471 Thessalonians 5,
03:512 Thessalonians 5 and verse 24.
03:57And it says,
03:58Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
04:04So, he calls you, right?
04:08He wants you to be faithful to him.
04:12The Most High God is calling you.
04:14Let's read it again.
04:15Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
04:21So, the Most High God is faithful to us, and you also have to be faithful to him, okay?
04:28You have to believe in him.
04:30You have to trust in him that he's calling you to do a job, just like he called me to
04:39do a job, okay?
04:40He calls on us, because this is the Word of God.
04:46And God does promise us that if we do the right thing in him, he will let us be in
04:55his kingdom, okay?
04:57Alright, let's move on.
04:59Romans 8 and 28.
05:03Let's go to it.
05:08Romans 8 and 28.
05:11And it says,
05:14And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the
05:23called according to his purpose.
05:27So, according to the Most High God's purpose, he calls you.
05:32So, everything is done for a reason.
05:34So, this is what he's trying to say.
05:37The Most High God is love.
05:40He's all about love.
05:42Christ is all about love.
05:44Remember, in Matthew, Christ gave a new commandment that says,
05:48Let's love one another, because he loves you, so you should love him.
05:53The Heavenly Father loves Christ, as Christ loves you, as we should love one another, okay?
06:01Let's read that again.
06:04And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.
06:11It's that word again.
06:13Love God, okay?
06:16To them who are the called according to his purpose, according to the Most High God's purpose, okay?
06:25He calls us for a reason.
06:27And in the time that he calls you, you might not understand why is this happening to you.
06:34You may feel like, oh, I don't want to learn no Bible.
06:37I don't want to teach no Bible.
06:39That's not for me.
06:40But there's a reason behind it.
06:42And you may understand.
06:43You may not understand.
06:45Because sometimes Most High doesn't, well, let's put it this way.
06:50Everything in this world is not always for us to understand.
06:53Some things are just unexplained and you don't understand it, okay?
06:59That's just how it is.
07:01If you was able to understand every little thing that went on in this planet, you probably will lose your
07:08mind.
07:08You will go crazy.
07:09You will end up in the psych world, okay?
07:12So it's not meant for us to understand every little detail or every little thing in the world.
07:18But some things are meant for us to understand and some things aren't, okay?
07:23Let's move on from that.
07:25Let's go to 1 Corinthians chapter 1, the first chapter.
07:29And we're going to read 28 and 29, okay?
07:4128 and 29.
07:43And it says that no flesh, oh, wait, sorry.
07:49Let's read 28 first.
07:501 Corinthians chapter 1, verse 28.
07:53And base things of the world and things which are despised has God chosen, yea, and things which are not
08:03to bring to naught.
08:05Nort means bring it to nothing, things that are.
08:0929.
08:10That no flesh should glory in His presence, okay?
08:17Okay?
08:18So let's go over that again.
08:211 Corinthians chapter 1, verse 28.
08:26And base things of the world and things which are despised.
08:30Because there are a lot of things in this world that are despised.
08:35Especially certain people in this world is despised.
08:39Why are they despised?
08:40No one truly knows.
08:42But it's just that certain people hate another certain people.
08:46And it's so wrong, you know.
08:49But there's a lot of hatred and racism out there and people that hate other people.
08:55And they don't even have a reason to really hate them.
08:58They don't even know the person and they hate and they despise, okay?
09:02So in base things of the world and things which are despised have God chosen ye.
09:09So God is choosing a certain people.
09:13God is choosing godly men and godly women.
09:17Men and women that He knows is going to do right.
09:23And men and women that's going to be there for His cause.
09:26For good and not for evil.
09:30And things which are not.
09:32And things which are not.
09:33To bring to nothing things that are.
09:36So He's going to bring those things to nothing, okay?
09:40That no flesh should glory in His presence.
09:44No flesh is going to glory in His presence.
09:48Meaning, could be talking about like famous people.
09:52Because famous people are out there.
09:54Say you're a famous singer.
09:56Most times say you're not going to glory in His presence.
10:00That no flesh should glory in His presence.
10:04I was chosen because I'm a singer.
10:08No.
10:09But that ain't why the Most High is choosing you.
10:12Most High is choosing you because you're a good person.
10:16So in other words, it could be anyone that He can choose.
10:19It could be a poor person.
10:21It could be a middle class.
10:22A high class.
10:24A rich or wealthy person.
10:26It doesn't matter.
10:27But the Most High will choose you.
10:30When He chooses you, you have to make sure that you take heed to that.
10:34Understand what your purpose is.
10:36Because if you don't understand it, then you might falter.
10:40You might lose.
10:43You understand?
10:44So let's move on from that scripture.
10:47Let's go on to 2 Thessalonians.
10:51We're right next to it.
10:532 Thessalonians.
10:57Chapter 2.
11:03Alright, here's 2 Thessalonians.
11:05Chapter 2.
11:07Verse 14.
11:08And it says,
11:12Well, until He called you by our gospel, okay, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
11:23Okay?
11:23And there's a connecting scripture.
11:25John 17 and 22.
11:28Okay?
11:30And I forgot to read my most famous scripture that I love.
11:35And I'm going to go to it right now because I sort of forgot.
11:37Let's go on to, let's move real quick to Proverbs 3, 5, and 6.
11:43Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not unto thy own understanding.
11:49In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy past.
11:54And He will direct your past.
11:56Now back to 2 Thessalonians, chapter 2, verse 14.
12:01Let's go over that again.
12:04Where unto He called you by our gospel.
12:07The Most High God is calling you to this gospel.
12:12If you're watching this video, He's calling you.
12:16He's there.
12:16He's in you.
12:17But you might not see it yet.
12:20Okay?
12:21He's calling you to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
12:30Okay?
12:31Because Christ is our Lord.
12:33The Most High God is the Lord over everything.
12:36Okay?
12:37So, He's calling you.
12:39And I have another connecting scripture, which is Revelations 13 and 7.
12:44Okay?
12:45All right.
12:46Let's move on.
12:48Let's move on to Philippians.
12:50We're going to Philippians, chapter 3.
12:56Okay?
12:58Philippians, chapter 3, verse 14.
13:01And it says,
13:04I will press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
13:14Okay?
13:15I will press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
13:24Because that scripture is saying, He's calling you.
13:30And as He called on you, and you are a good person, and you're doing what is right in the
13:37eyes of God, okay, that He's going to call you.
13:42And you're going to get a high price for it.
13:45And I believe that high price is the kingdom.
13:49Okay?
13:49So, if you want to obtain that, you're going to take heed to your calling.
13:56Okay?
13:57Let's move on from that one.
13:59Let's go to 1 Peter 2 and 21.
14:05Let's go to 1 Peter.
14:08And there was a connected scripture, 2 Timothy 4 and 7.
14:13They want to get pen and paper and write these things down.
14:16If that's not in your Bible, it's in my Bible.
14:20This Bible is really old.
14:23Okay?
14:23Let's go to 1 Peter.
14:282 Peter.
14:301 Peter 2 and verse 9.
14:42So, when I read this scripture, this scripture is powerful.
15:02Okay?
15:03Because in this scripture, God is talking to all people that are like-minded, that believe on Him, that trust
15:12in Him, that have faith in Him, and that keep His two greatest commandments, which is love God with all
15:19your mind, your heart, your soul, your body, and then love your neighbor as you love yourself.
15:25Because if you love your neighbor as you love yourself, the rest of those laws hang under it, and you're
15:32not going to commit them.
15:33Do you understand?
15:34Let's read that again.
15:371 Peter 2, verse 9.
15:40For ye are a generation, a royal priesthood.
15:46He says we're a royal priesthood because we're all like-minded, and we believe in the same thing.
15:52We believe in the Most High God and Christ.
15:55We trust on them.
15:56We believe in them, and we have faith in them.
15:59And all those things are very important.
16:02Okay?
16:02And holy nations, we are a holy nation, a peculiar people.
16:08Okay?
16:09We are peculiar people.
16:11Okay?
16:15And that ye should show forth the praises.
16:20We show forth the praises by rehearsing the righteous acts that we rehearse every day, by reading our Bible, by
16:30preaching it to others, or teaching it to others, by showing others good, and how to do good, and how
16:37to help others.
16:38Okay?
16:40That's how we praise the Most High, and we say prayers to Him.
16:44Okay?
16:45Okay?
16:48And we should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness.
16:54He called us out of darkness.
16:56Now, you know a lot of us, if not all of us, at once upon a time in your life,
17:03you was in a very dark place, and you didn't know what was happening.
17:08You didn't understand it.
17:10Maybe you wanted to kill yourself.
17:11Maybe you were depressed, and you were just going through so much.
17:16But remember, the scriptures always say that God won't put on you too much.
17:23He knows what you can bear and what you can't bear.
17:26He knows what will crack you.
17:27And that's not what He's trying to do.
17:29He knows how strong each and every one of us are.
17:32But, we were in darkness.
17:35So, if you are in that place, then, and you're watching me, try to get out of that place.
17:42Start reading your Bible.
17:43Go get your Bible.
17:45Go get the King James Version.
17:47And I tell you, you also can buy the King James Version, the 1611, because that has the Apocrypha in
17:54it.
17:55I actually would be teaching the Apocrypha, but I can't find my Apocrypha.
18:00I did so much work in that book, folks.
18:02You have no idea.
18:04And I can't find it, but I may just purchase the 1611 too.
18:09Okay?
18:10But, we are God's people.
18:13Okay?
18:14And He calls us from darkness into His marvelous light.
18:18His marvelous light, guys, is His Bible.
18:21His marvelous light is you.
18:24His marvelous light is me.
18:27We are the marvelous light.
18:29Okay?
18:30And He's trying to show us.
18:32That's why He's calling you.
18:34Okay?
18:35Let's move to the next scripture.
18:42Let's go to 2 Timothy 1 and 9.
18:49Let's go to 2 Timothy 1 and 9.
18:56Okay.
18:582 Timothy 1 and 9.
19:01Okay?
19:072 Timothy 1 and 9 says,
19:11Who hath saved us and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His
19:21own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
19:29You see, guys?
19:30Before the world began.
19:33Let's read that again.
19:362 Timothy 1 and 9.
19:39Who hath saved us, who saved us, the Most High God in Christ, and called us unto, and holy calling,
19:49the Most High God in Christ.
19:51They saved us.
19:53They called us.
19:54Right?
19:55Not according to our works.
19:57Not according to our works.
19:59Because all of us at some point in time was caught up in some type of wickedness.
20:04Doing some type of evil.
20:06Doing something we know we wasn't supposed to do.
20:09But the Most High called you from that.
20:13And when He calls you from that, you have to take heed to that.
20:17You have to see that that's why He's calling you.
20:22Because He's trying to save you.
20:24Okay?
20:25But according to His own purpose and grace.
20:29So, according to His purpose and His grace, He hath called us.
20:35Okay?
20:38His purpose and His grace.
20:40We don't know what it is, but He know what it is.
20:42And we have to take heed to that.
20:45Which was given to us in Christ Jesus.
20:48Which was given to Christ Jesus before the world began.
20:53Okay?
20:54So, before the world began, it was given to Christ Jesus.
20:59Okay?
20:59Okay?
21:00Okay.
21:00Okay.
21:00Okay?
21:00Okay?
