00:19how powerful that place really is when you have nothing to lose the fear that actually controls
00:28you begins to loosen its grip when you have nothing to prove the noise of expectations comparisons
00:37and opinions finally starts to fade and it's in that quiet something holy happens God begins to
00:49speak clearly now there is a strange freedom that comes when you admit honestly I don't have it all
00:57together you know no pretending no posturing no performing just standing where you are and saying
01:05Lord this is me empty hands open heart and scripture tells us that God resists the proud but gives grace
01:18to the humble grace does not flow toward the person who claims they already have it all figured out
01:25grace flows toward the one who knows they don't and starting from zero is not failure it is
01:35honesty it is the moment you stop trying to impress the world and start allowing God to rebuild you from
01:43the inside out it's the moment you stop carrying the exhausting burden of proving your worth and finally
01:53rest in the truth that your worth was settled long before you ever did anything right or wrong you know we live in a
02:04culture that's obsessed with proving proving success proving strength proving happiness proving that we matter but faith

03:09a killer a killer of people carrying regret that could have crushed him none of them had anything to prove they had everything to surrender and you see that's the key difference when you have nothing to lose you are finally free to obey when you have nothing to prove you are finally free to listen
03:36when your identity when your identity is no longer wrapped up in approval success or recognition your soul becomes light enough for God to move you know some of you are at the point in your life where things have been stripped away from what you once relied on maybe the job is gone maybe the relationship ended maybe the plan
04:05well maybe the plan failed maybe the version of yourself you thought you'd be by now never showed up and you're standing there thinking I'm back at zero but hear this clearly God is not intimidated by zero zero is where he specializes zero is where pride dies
04:35zero zero is where faith stops being theoretical and becomes personal when you have nothing to lose you stop negotiating with God you stop saying I'll follow you if and you start saying I'll follow you because I trust you Jesus himself modeled this
05:35if you are if you are starting from zero if you are starting from zero today you are in a sacred place you are standing at the beginning and not the end God does not ask you to bring strength you don't have he asks you to bring honesty you do have he does not ask you to prove your worth he asks you to trust his word he does not ask you to impress him he asks you to
06:05to walk with him because there is a quiet courage that comes when you stop trying to win approval and start living in obedience you become harder to manipulate harder to discourage harder to distract because your motivation is no longer external it is anchored in God
06:35I love this because I've started from zero several times in my life and when you start from zero with God you never stay there he builds patiently he restores deliberately he shapes purposefully but he does it in a way that keeps you grounded humble and aware that every good thing comes from him
07:05when you have God when you have God on your side when let me rephrase that when you have a God on your side how can you lose he is the ultimate power he controls it all so if today you feel unseen unaccomplished or uncertain don't despise that feeling just offer it to God and say Lord I'm starting from zero
07:34but I'm starting with you let's partner up that prayer carries more power than any resume title or achievement you have nothing to lose except fear you have nothing to prove except trust and when God becomes your foundation
