00:00You know, there is no man living who isn't capable of doing more than he thinks he can do.
00:10You know, most men don't fail because they lack ability.
00:14They fail because they stop believing growth is still possible.
00:20And somewhere along the way, life convinces us that we've reached our limit.
00:27Not because God said so, but because disappointment did, because exhaustion did, because fear did,
00:40because past failures have whispered, this is as far as you go.
00:48But God has never been impressed by the limits we place upon ourselves.
00:53In scripture, the men God used most powerfully were not the most confident.
01:00They were the most available.
01:03They didn't believe in themselves at first.
01:06They believed God was present.
01:10At that presence, unlock something inside them they didn't even know existed.
01:17Moses didn't see a leader when he looked in the mirror.
01:21He saw a fugitive with a speech problem.
01:26A terrible stutter.
01:29But God?
01:31God saw a man who could confront Pharaoh.
01:35Gideon saw weakness.
01:38God saw courage waiting to be drawn out.
01:41Peter saw instability.
01:45Jesus saw a rock.
01:49Here's the pattern.
01:50God always sees more in you than you see in yourself.
01:56And that gap?
01:57The space between how you see yourself and how God sees you?
02:02Is where faith is built.
02:06You see, most men live cautiously because they confuse safety with wisdom.
02:12But biblical faith has never been about playing it safe.
02:16It's been about trusting God when the outcome isn't guaranteed.
02:22Now, faith does not mean that fear disappears.
02:30Faith means obedience shows up despite fear.
02:35You don't become strong by waiting until you feel strong.
02:39Strength is formed when you act while still feeling unsure.
02:46And that's uncomfortable.
02:49But you know what?
02:51Growth is always uncomfortable.
02:54We want confidence before the step.
02:58We want fire before we have to apply wood.
03:02God offers confidence through the step.
03:06We want clarity first.
03:08But God says, walk.
03:11And I'll light the path as you move.
03:14That's why so many men stall.
03:18Not because they lack faith entirely.
03:22But because they demand certainty God never promised.
03:27Think about Abraham.
03:29Now, God didn't give him a map.
03:32He gave him a direction.
03:35Go.
03:36And I will show you.
03:38The showing came after the going, see?
03:44And that's where most men stop.
03:48They wait for permission from comfort.
03:51They wait for reassurance from circumstances.
03:55They wait for validation from people who are just as afraid to move.
04:02But God doesn't call men to comfort.
04:05He calls them to courage.
04:09And courage is not loud.
04:12Courage is often quiet.
04:15It shows up in daily obedience, unseen faithfulness, and staying when quitting would be easier.
04:24And you, my friend, you are capable of much more than you think.
04:31More endurance.
04:33But endurance only reveals itself under pressure.
04:38Now, you are capable of more patience than you think.
04:42But patience only grows when tested.
04:45And you're capable of more leadership than you think.
04:52But leadership?
04:54Leadership forms when responsibility feels heavy.
04:58You see, God did not reveal your full capacity in advance because you would rely on yourself instead of him.
05:09So, he stretches you gradually.
05:13One step.
05:14One burden.
05:16One obedience at a time.
05:19And somewhere along the way, you realize you're carrying things you never thought you could carry.
05:27Speaking truths you never thought you'd speak.
05:30Standing firm in moments that once would have broken you.
05:36That's not accidental.
05:39That's formation.
05:40And the problem is that many men interpret struggle as failure.
05:45They think, if this were God, it wouldn't be this hard.
05:51But scripture?
05:53Well, scripture tells us a different story.
05:56Resistance doesn't mean God has left you.
05:59Often, it means you're crossing a threshold.
06:04You see, Jesus himself faced resistance at every turning point of his ministry.
06:11Before miracles.
06:13Before the cross.
06:14Before resurrection.
06:17Difficulty did not mean abandonment.
06:21It meant significance.
06:23If what you're doing matters, it will cost you something.
06:30Some of you are tired right now.
06:33Not because you're weak, but because you're growing.
06:37You're carrying responsibility you didn't carry before.
06:41You're seeing clearly in ways you didn't before.
06:46You're wrestling with purpose, calling, and obedience.
06:51And that exhaustion is not evidence of failure.
06:56It's evidence of expansion.
07:00But here's the warning.
07:02Fatigue should lead you to God.
07:05Not away from him.
07:08Jesus withdrew to pray.
07:11He rested.
07:13He realigned.
07:14But he didn't quit.
07:17There is a difference between rest and retreat.
07:21Rest restores strength.
07:25Retreat abandons calling.
07:29And many men retreat way too early.
07:32Right before strength would have been revealed.
07:36You don't discover who you are in moments of ease.
07:40You discover who you are when quitting feels justified.
07:44But obedience keeps you moving forward.
07:49Now, God doesn't ask you to be fearless.
07:53He asks you to be faithful.
07:56Faithful when progress is slow.
07:59Faithful when recognition is absent.
08:02Faithful when results are delayed.
08:05Because faithfulness, faithfulness builds capacity.
08:13The man you are becoming is shaped by what you choose not to quit.
08:19You are not defined by what you lack.
08:22You are defined by who walks with you.
08:25And when God walks with a man, the limits that once felt permanent begin to dissolve.
08:33So, stop measuring yourself by yesterday's version of you.
08:40Stop letting old mistakes decide new obedience.
08:45Stop assuming that because something feels heavy, it means you weren't meant to carry it.
08:52God equips those he calls.
08:56But often the equipment is revealed after the call is accepted.
09:01Now, you are capable of more faith than you think.
09:05More obedience than you think.
09:09More strength than you think.
09:13More purpose than you think.
09:16And not because you are enough, but because God is.
09:23And one day, if you keep walking, you'll look back and realize something profound.
09:29The strength you were waiting for was already inside of you.
09:35It was just waiting for faith to activate it.
09:40So, take the step.
09:43Carry the responsibility.
09:44Say yes before you feel ready.
09:49There is no man living who isn't capable of doing more than he thinks he can do.
09:55When he walks forward with God.
10:00And that, my friend, includes you.
10:06God bless you, my friends.
