00:00Yes, Jeffrey Simmons, Chicago Bear.
00:02Breaking news, according to Tom Pelissero, and others have also reported this now.
00:08The Bears will send two first-round draft picks and a fourth-rounder to the Titans
00:13for defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons.
00:1729 years old, 6'4", 305 pounds, game wrecker, difference maker, impact player.
00:26Wow.
00:27This is Ryan Pohl's swing and big.
00:30This is a home-run swing by the Bears' general manager.
00:35Two firsts and a fourth is a hefty price.
00:38If he is the guy that puts your defense over the top,
00:42if he is the guy that makes you feel like you are legitimizing your spot and place
00:49as an NFC title contender, it will be worth it.
00:54It will be debated, and I understand all of the questions about
00:58the potential, the prospects you're trading away in the draft picks.
01:02But, Jarrett Payton, this is fun.
01:06Can I get excited?
01:09Let's go, man!
01:11This is what you want.
01:12This is what you want.
01:13This is showing me right here that Ryan Pohl's and Ben Johnson believe in this team,
01:18like the city of Chicago believes in this team.
01:21This is the only way that you can really clarify this whole entire situation.
01:28It's like, yo, we wanted him to make a move.
01:31We talked about this move.
01:33We didn't know what it would take.
01:35We were maybe saying, we said a first round, a first round, and then maybe a third round.
01:40But this is what you do.
01:42This is steep.
01:43It's definitely something that will be debated for years.
01:46Yes.
01:47But remember this.
01:48If the Bears are as good as they expect to be, and this puts them in that category,
01:52these will be late first round draft picks.
01:55You're not talking about top ten picks.
01:56The fourth rounder, that's something that is almost negligible.
02:01This is aggressive.
