00:21between five and six million dollars and Joe is a guy who was a really really highly thought of
00:29prospect for the Angels and then never really materialized and just kind of just kind of kept
00:38going he was a first round pick back in 2017 and just did not get it done did not get

00:45not get it done and then in 2024 when he was 25 years old hit 20 homers and drove in
00:5162 runs hit 207
00:54last year hit 236 but hit 37 home runs with 98 runs batted in sorry in this day and age

03:38the all-star break where they've had him yeah does this mean I the Lauder's moving to center field on
03:43a handful of days no they played him there in the playoffs last year they're gonna leave chase the
03:49Lauder in right field because it's worked and they're gonna leave him at DH and give him those
03:55days off occasionally as a DH okay but again now this is the repercussion of the team you want Joe
04:00Adele in the lineup almost every single day that means he's playing pretty much right fielder DH that's
04:05the majority of where he's going to be not gonna play a ton of center probably that means you got
04:10on hell you have PD out in center one of those guys PD might PD will be back in AAA

04:16then if that's your rotation at right field DH or or David Fry that's true who has options left yes
04:24that doesn't it might fix your first base problem too right if if he's going to be if he's going

09:16guardians in the 2024 June draft so obviously they thought highly of him obviously they have a lot of
09:27catching so we'll see where it goes he was playing at double a Akron was doing a solid job hitting
09:3222-30-90 at 10 homers 44 runs better than if that's it if you're giving up one minor league
09:40prospect at a position of strength you do that every day of the week there's no question this is
09:48a move that they had to make I mean that's the perfect prospect to want to give up like I

09:53Cozart looks nice maybe turns into something but again you're trying to line up a window right now for
09:58the guardians hey this is what this entire thing goes to you talk about the current economic state
10:02in baseball the guardians need to spend money and develop talent all at the exact same time

10:11on Bazzana now would be your time to start investing and seeing if you can get you know guys for

10:17years of control catcher is set at that point I imagine is this team's competitive Austin Hedges got
10:21his bat underneath him he'll probably be back next year I don't know that he hangs it up and if

10:26defensive catchers in baseball don't exactly cost a fortune you can find him if you're just tuning
10:30in guardians make a trade Joe Adele this is according to Zach Meisel from the athletic Joe
10:37Adele coming from the Los Angeles Angels he is a 27 year old outfielder he's from Louisville Kentucky
10:45and maybe he's families in Louisville and they're thrilled that they don't have to go to Los Angeles
10:49to see him now hopefully Joe's thrilled to become a Cleveland Guardian he is under contract contract
10:56through this year and is arbitration eligible next year can be a free agent after next season
11:04so in theory the guardians have him for a year and a half can be a free agent in 2028

11:11he's 27 years old he'll turn 28 coming up in April they give up Jacob Cozart a catcher who was

11:18double a Akron was a second round pick in the 2024 draft they get the power hitting bat they were

12:15a name that was obviously heavily talked about as well yeah yep okay there were there's one other
12:21name that was associated with the guardians and that's Helio Ramos I would think that Adele
12:29takes that one off the table right-handed hitting outfielder with power um you got one
12:35so I would think that takes care of that
