00:20:42could make that pitcher work a little more expose himself by throwing pitches that could be the key
00:20:46to winning perhaps later on so shot into the gap and that should bring in the run coming home in

00:25:25this is a situation where the hitter is looking for something up in the zone that he can get his
00:25:29arms
00:25:30extended what you have to be careful of is that pitch that's up that's in on your
00:25:34hands that'll pop you up in the infield and that's exactly what the pitcher wants

00:25:56it can be so tough as a hitter to pull yourself out of an extended slump one that lasts for
00:26:01several games even a week or more

00:26:08racing having a hard time sleeping trying to figure out what can get him back on
00:26:12track back to feeling more comfortable and settled in in the box
00:26:16he's pitching well but not throwing a ton of first pitch strikes usually doesn't
00:26:21work out for success but you can never predict baseball that's ripped into the
00:26:25outfield pulls it in on the run and that is that so a leadoff double but they can't
00:26:33cash it in to the bottom of inning number four now raise three here the white socks
00:26:38nothing welcome back as we take a peek at the starting pitching so far this year
00:26:57well these rays doing a good job of simply getting the bat on the ball in
00:27:01this game and the numbers back that up and here's a stat for you boo they're
00:27:05making contact with more than 85% of the pitches that they're swinging at it's
00:27:09pretty special stuff not so good if you're out there on the mound

00:30:15far you know these White Sox looking to string together better at bats when they
00:30:27have runners on but it just hasn't happened for me they've had their
00:30:30chances with runners and score position but nobody's been able to deliver a big
00:30:41hit in those situations any grounds one to the right side over to Diaz one away
00:30:48here in the fifth and you gotta give some credit to the other side as well they've
00:30:52been able to get out of a few tough jams but frustration is mountain for this
00:30:56offense no doubt the Rays leading by four and we're at the top of the fifth

00:31:17next for Chicago Monataka Morikami oh this is a rookie we've been paying close
00:31:24attention to this season one of the top prospects in the game and he looks like
00:31:28he belongs at this level he's enjoying a good season at the plate sharp

00:31:38third the throw in and they'll have runners at the corners after a one-ounce
00:31:43single fall off foul here's your one and that one fouled off

00:34:18getting a chance to see him go to work it looked to me like they really wanted to get to

00:34:27swing and a pop-up in foul ground what a way I say that about the mental edge because on

00:34:35it's extremely frustrating to not be able to put hitters away and that's exactly what we've seen here
00:34:55this ball's chopped on the ground my drop toss is still first all man for the fifth inning moving
00:35:01along two quick outs first of all that's just a nice job even get to that ball and then even

00:35:07impressive was the throw off balance had to try to in the air get his shoulders turned and make
00:35:13a strong throw does show off the strength of the arm we're usually used to seeing that kind of arm
