00:00How can you not look at Baker Mayfield and say, I need to consider going after him?
00:05And if I'm the Jets in particular, I would look at where I am right now with Geno and Cade
00:11Klubnick
00:12and weigh it versus what Baker Mayfield has been and what he potentially could be.
00:17Because even if he's not good, even if he's not fantastic,
00:21he ultimately is probably better than what you have in your quarterback room right now.
00:25And so, Baker Mayfield to the New York Jets has to be a real conversation.
00:31It has to be.
00:32And I think if the Jet fan really thought about it,
00:35and by the way, this is not getting rid of your first-round pick who you're going to draft next
00:39year.
00:39You can draft that guy anyways.
00:40You give Baker a two-year deal or a three-year deal.
00:43It's fungible with the cap.
00:44You have him for two years.
00:45It lets the young kid play or not play.
00:48And again, that's not what I'm worried about.
00:50I'm talking about looking at your QB room and saying,
00:53who's best for it right now.
00:55And if I'm the Jets or the Vikings or the Browns or the Atlanta Falcons,
01:00I have to weigh this.
01:01I have to look at this as an opportunity to go steal somebody
01:05from a disgruntled situation in Tampa Bay.
01:09Because I got to tell you, it feels like Tampa is crumbling.
