Le médecin Anthony Fauci a refusé ce mercredi 29 juillet de répondre à de nouvelles questions d’une commission du Sénat américain sur les origines du virus et sa gestion.   Dénonçant « l’obsession manifeste » du conservateur Rand Paul présidant cette commission à le poursuivre en justice, l’immunologue a surpris en indiquant qu’il invoquerait, sur conseil de ses avocats, son droit à ne pas s’auto-incriminer, garanti par le cinquième amendement de la Constitution américaine.
