00:30and I actually think it's what they will do,
00:32and there's a lot of options there.

00:38would you give up Logan Henderson in a trade for Tarek Skubal
00:42as part of a package coming back?
00:44And he said, no, Logan Henderson, a 24-year-old right-hander
00:47who is top 100 prospect kind of guy who has shown tremendous promise
00:52and is pitching for them now,
00:55had another dominant performance last night.
00:57But for a stretch run, Skubal and Misarowski would give you
01:01probably the best one-two punch in the league in a long time
01:04and might make him a favorite to win it all.
01:08Brewer's fans said no to that.
01:09He did say yes to something else that surprised me.

01:14In the meantime, I'm teasing what a fan told me,
01:17but I wanted the Brewer fans' perspective.

03:32But Gibbs is young.

03:36And Jalen Carter was under club control for the next three years.
03:41They didn't need to extend him.
03:42But that's not their M.O. of the way they do business.
03:47And Jalen Carter, they have a dominant offensive line.
03:51Jalen Carter is the best interior defensive lineman in the league.
03:56Do the Lions have a dominant offense?
03:59Yes, and they would still have it if they substituted somebody else for Gibbs.

04:23Well, if not, but I think you take away your superpower.
04:26I think that the ability to run play action with Jameer Gibbs is a big part of what makes this

04:33It's a big part of what makes that passing attack so potent.
04:41Look, if you can get him to play for the next three years and there's no issues, I could see
04:47that as an argument.
04:49But at this point, when you've war-chested for this very reason, and this isn't a drama yet, by the

05:42Now, if you, if your superpower as a team is your defensive front, which for Philly it kind of is,

05:51The superpower for the Lions is their potent, potent offense.
05:56If they're going to win anything, it's going to be because of their offense.

06:02It's for the, in theory, the next few years.
06:04When you're locking up young players, it's funny to me that some people look at the window as closing.
06:12When ideally what they have done is draft well and retain.
06:19When you're locking up your young players, it's actually, in theory, an effort to keep the window open longer.
06:28And so it's not just about this year.
06:31It's about years after this.
06:33Lions have a good reputation.
06:35They've taken care of their own.
06:36That helps in a lot of ways.
06:39They aren't considered a clown organization anymore.
06:43And it's tricky.
06:44I don't think it's a given.
06:45Believe me.
06:47Did I react differently because I thought he brought up a Fantasyland trade?

07:20Now, you know, it's not like you give him seven years or something because there is diminishing returns.
