00:00Howard Stern's lawyer is pushing back against new claims from the radio legend's former assistant, Leslie Kuhn,
00:06calling her latest legal allegations frivolous in a newly revealed private email.
00:11A private email from Stern's attorney, Andrew Mark Goldsmith, was included as an exhibit in court documents
00:16filed Sunday by Kuhn's lawyer, John Joseph Leonard.
00:20In the July 24, 2026 email, Goldsmith criticized Kuhn's plans to file a second amended complaint,
00:27alleging that non-disclosure agreements were fabricated during her employment with Howard Stern and his wife, Beth Stern.
00:34Goldsmith argued that Stern had already unequivocally, unconditionally, and irrevocably waived his right
00:40to enforce the alleged confidentiality agreement against Kuhn in publicly filed court documents.
00:46The email also stated that Stern and the other defendants were reiterating that they waive any rights
00:51to enforce the agreement against Kuhn now or at any point in the future.
00:55Goldsmith wrote that because of those waivers, there should be no ambiguity about their position.
01:00He went on to argue that the proposed second amended complaint is both futile and frivolous,
01:05calling it vexatious, wasteful, and a needless drain on judicial and party resources.
01:10The attorney also warned that if Kuhn moved forward with the amended complaint,
01:14Stern's legal team reserved the right to seek sanctions, which could include monetary fines.
01:19The latest filing from Kuhn's attorney includes proposed amendments claiming she was never presented
01:24with or signed a September 2022 confidentiality agreement.
01:29The filing also alleges the agreement was fabricated, claims the signature on the document
01:33differs from known examples of Kuhn's signature, and argues the NDA is legally void from the beginning.
01:39The legal dispute follows Howard and Beth Stern's motion to dismiss Kuhn's lawsuit,
01:43which they filed in April after waiving their rights to enforce the alleged NDA.
01:48As Page Six previously reported, Kuhn sued the couple in April,
01:52alleging they created a hostile work environment while she worked as an executive assistant
01:56at their 20,000 square foot Southampton, New York home.
01:59She claimed Beth Stern relied on her help to manage mansion staff and oversee household operations,
02:05including her at-home feline rescue and fostering work.
02:08Kuhn also alleged she was fired in February after receiving a letter stating she would receive
02:13a raise to $265,000 and an $80,000 bonus this year.
02:18She has also maintained that the non-disclosure agreements were manufactured
02:22and has denied ever signing a confidentiality agreement.
02:25Earlier this year, Kuhn's attorney told Page Six that his client felt entirely muzzled
02:30by her former employers and argued there was an unfair power imbalance between the two sides.
