00:00The best crypto APIs for developers. Today we'll be ranking five platforms and really comparing which ones are best because
00:10at the end of the day, the best crypto API for developers actually depends on the application that's being built.
00:16CoinStats API, I believe is the best overall crypto API for applications that need market prices, wallet balances, exchange portfolios,
00:28DeFi positions and profit and loss analytics and token security through one integration.
00:34We also have StealthX, which is kind of considered one of the best for embedded swaps, allowing wallets, aggregators and
00:43trading terminals to pretty much offer non-custodial cryptocurrency conversions.
00:48And then you've got BedEye, which is considered the best for real-time DEX and token trading data, particularly for
00:56new token discovery and wallet monitoring and on-chain trading analytics.
01:01Glassnode is known, popularly kind of considered the top institutional grade on-chain research API, including entity-adjusted Bitcoin metrics,
01:15supply dynamics, derivatives, market data, etc.
01:17Then you've got Covalent, which is kind of, which is a gold rush by Covalent, which is considered one of
01:26the top ones for normalized multi-chain blockchain data.
01:30And this also includes wallet balances, decoded transactions, NFT metadata, etc.
01:36So there's no universal API that is the strongest at every layer.
01:41The best production systems often combine a general purpose data provider with a specialist API for execution, institutional research and
01:51low latency DEX data.
01:54So let's actually get into some real depth of what these APIs have to offer, right?
02:01And then we can compare them.
02:03CoinStats API, which I said is the top on our list, is an all-in-one market wallet, DeFi and
02:11portfolio data API where you can get free access with 20,000 credits monthly, which is incredible.
02:20So from approximately just $49 per month, that is your entry-level paid access, right?
02:27And it's a really, really great API, the best overall, according to our assessment.
02:34And the only limitation I can say is that it's not an order execution API, right?
02:41But if we move on to the second one on our list, which is StealthX, which is, like I said,
02:47best for embedding non-crypto, non-custodial crypto swaps instead.
02:53You know, you have the free API key and transaction-based model, customizable transaction fee, not general analytics API.
03:03Like I said, that is one of the limitations in BairdEye, which we kind of mentioned before, is good for
03:10DEX prices, token, trade, discovery, web sockets, 30,000 compute units on the free model.
03:18And then you've got 39 per month advanced streams and batch endpoints require higher plans, which is kind of where
03:27the limitation comes in.
03:28So Glassnode, institutional on-chain market intelligence, limited API access on the light end on the free tier, professional API
03:38pricing depends on your actual configuration.
03:41And then you've got Gold Rush by Covalent, like I said, which is a normalized multi-chain wallet and transaction
03:47data API, where you can get a 14-day free trial with about 25,000 credits and about $10 per
03:53month.
03:54The only downside being it's no permanent unrestricted free tier.
04:00So at the end of the day, for those that are new to crypto APIs, the cryptocurrency application programming interface
04:06or crypto API allows software to kind of retrieve or submit cryptocurrency-related information programmatically, right?
04:14So depending on the provider, crypto API can deliver several things.
04:19It could be cryptocurrency prices, market capitalizations, trading volumes, etc., wallet balances, blockchain transactions, token security data, on-chain indicators,
04:28and so forth.
04:30And the reason why we've mapped out the whole space and really come up with CoinStats as the best overall
04:37crypto API for most developers is because it combines that market data, the wallet tracking, the exchange account, synchronization, DeFi
04:47positions, portfolio analytics, historical transactions.
04:50I will include token risk information and AI agent connectivity under one API key, which is fantastic.
04:58And CoinStats actually reports coverage across more than 120 blockchains.
05:04One of the most comprehensive that I've seen, 200 exchanges, 100,000 plus cryptocurrency assets and 10,000 DeFi protocols.
05:14And its free plan currently includes 20,000 monthly credits, like I mentioned before, with a two request pay second
05:23limit.
05:23Paid commercial plans begin at about $49 per month, which I think is very, very kind of a good pricing
05:32tier, especially if you've got all of these things all covered in that one subscription.
05:37So I think this is the top one to look at, and you guys should go check it out.
05:44The full review to all of these is in the description.
05:47You can find it on our main site and get started with the links in the description, guys.
05:51And let me know what your thoughts are.
05:53If you're a developer, this is a gold mine.
05:56Go check out CoinStats and check out the rest of the other APIs and really get into this depth of
06:02comparison.
06:03And you can see which one really works out best for you.
06:06But CoinStats is our top recommendation.
06:09Like, share, subscribe, and let me know what your thoughts are.
06:11Peace, y'all.
