00:20I could see them wanting to do the Shumayev fight.
00:23There's the Imovov. He's out there.
00:25I know Strickland's got a win over him.
00:26And, you know, DuPlessis, I feel like a finish would have been great for him.
00:31I felt like he had opportunities to finish that fight and just didn't do it,
00:35which was a little bit disappointing.
00:37But, I mean, he looked good.
00:39He dominated the whole fight.
00:40There really wasn't many times of worry in that fight for him.
00:44And he didn't dominate.
00:46He didn't dominate a tomato can either here, right?
00:48It was Kamara Usman.

00:50I understand he's 39 years old, but it's still Kamara Usman.

00:55And, you know, Usman came to fight.
00:56I mean, Usman didn't look great, but I feel like that's just because DuPlessis

01:01DuPlessis made him, you know, it's a weird guy to match up with, DuPlessis.
01:05I mean, people coming into it were saying, you know, on the feet,
01:08I think Usman's got him beat.
01:10And I was like, yeah, he's a cleaner striker, more technical striker.
01:15But DuPlessis, he's unlike anybody else.
01:17So everybody he fights is cleaner on the feet.
01:21He's just so awkward and wild, and he throws heavy, heavy shots that he hits you out of
01:26nowhere, and it just throws you off your game.
01:29Usman couldn't get the grappling going.
01:31Obviously, we knew DDP was going to come in looking to stuff the takedowns.
01:35He did well with that.
01:37So that was good to see.
01:39But yeah, I mean, you know, Usman's an aging fighter, but who's really looked good against
01:43him?
01:43Not really anybody.
01:45I mean, even going back to the Shamaya fight that he took on short notice, Shamaya ragdolled
01:49him for a round, and the rest of the fight was a sweat, you know?
01:52So people are talking Usman should retire, this, that, the other.
01:56But I think he's still got something left in the tank, and I think that was a solid win

02:05Usman kind of came on strong in the fifth round.

02:08But yeah, I mean, overall, you know, DDP kind of just did what he had to do.
02:12So yeah, DDP is incredibly awkward, and you know, he's one of these fighters, he's never
02:16really going to get credit, because he's not, like, great at one thing, right?
02:22So like, people don't have that, like, one thing, oh yeah, he's amazing, like, oh, he's
02:26kickboxing, or oh, he's an amazing striker, he's a great wrestler.

02:33Like, he's that guy that walks into the bar and doesn't fear anybody.

02:38Like, he gets in your face, it's awkward, he can take a punch, and everybody that fights

02:46They're like, yeah, he hits a lot harder than I thought he would.

02:53Because like you said, it's very, it's kind of wild, but at the same point in time, it's

03:07I mean, he's tough as nails.

03:11I mean, early in his career, I doubted him for a long time because he was losing first

03:17He was down, you know, midway through the second round of fights.
03:21And then next thing you know, he's knocking guys out.
03:23He was getting wrestled.
03:25He was getting back up.
03:26He looks like he has a lot of holes in his game.
03:30But he's just a guy that fights through everything.
03:33And when he hits you, he hurts you.
03:35And that's a problem.
03:36And he's gone a long way.
03:38You know, he's looked great.
03:39Outside of that Shamaya fight, he's found a way to win a lot of fights.
03:42And he's going to win a lot more moving forward.
