00:16Greetings comrades, from here, Beijing, where China aims to consolidate its role in the
00:22global energy transition, the National Energy Administration and the National Development
00:28Development and Reform Commission presented the Renewable Energy Development Plan for the
00:35period of 2026 to 2030 as part of the 15 five-year plan.
00:43China is already the world's largest renewable energy market and this new plan seeks to accelerate
00:51that expansion.
00:52Among the main targets is reaching an installed renewable energy generation capacity of three
01:00billion point five kilowatts by 2030, with more than two point eight billion kilowatts coming
01:10from wind and solar power.
01:12The plan also includes expanding different clean energy source and strengthening international
01:18cooperation in green technologies.
01:21According to authorities, by 2030, nearly half of China electricity generation will come from
01:29non-facial fuel source, while new energy source will account for around 30 percent of the energy
01:37mix.
01:38With these goals, Beijing seeks to expand cooperation with global south countries in the development
01:44of clean technologies.
